Roderic O'Connor colt who in truth hasn't shown a great deal in two starts so far at Thirsk and Hamilton, and his future is likely to lie in nurseries once stepped up in trip.
His early pace was harnessed last time when a much improved ¾L runner up to That's A Surprise over C&D. Similar conditions are expected today, so another positive showing is likely assuming he doesn't over-race early.
Things didn't pan out perfectly on his debut at Hamilton earlier in the month (6f soft) as he was slowly away and stumbled at halfway in finishing fifth of nine to Poetic Steps. Likely to do better, but drops in trip and races on a much different surface this afternoon.
Unraced first foal by Doncaster Rover out of Beauty Pageant (herself a 5f-6f winner). A half-sister to various winners up to 1m. Market will provide a useful guide.
Didn't show masses of obvious potential in finishing sixth of twelve to Trusting Friend on debut at Thirsk earlier this month (6f good). However, this £1,000 yearling should have learnt from that experience.
Cost just £2,500 as a yearling, this third foal was already gelded prior to his debut over C&D last week. He has plenty of work to do with Roundhay Park on that showing, admittedly with today's opponent having the benefit of experience on that occasion.
Always in rear when a tailed off last of eleven on debut at Redcar in May (5f good), in a race won by Chatburn. Taken out of a planned engagement at Nottingham late last month and needs to have improved massively to play any part whatsoever.
Unraced filly by Dandy Man out of Hear My Cry. Cost just €1,000 as a yearling, but that increased to €20,000 earlier this year. Fourth foal who is a half-sister to Italian 7f to 1m+ winner Magia Nera. Hails from a stable with a strong strike rate with juveniles.
Unraced filly by Sleeping Indian out of Shamrock Lady (herself a 6f-7f winner). A half-sister to 6f winner El Principe this filly represents a locally based trainer known for his ability to produce winning sprinters.

Not too much in the way of solid and reliable form to go on in Division 2 of this Novice Auction Stakes. Roundhay Park has achieved the most so far, but he does look like he is very beatable for any rival with a modicum of untapped potential. With the newcomers, not making all that much obvious appeal, a chance is taken that WENSLEY will have learned plenty from his Hamilton debut, and despite dropping in trip on vastly different ground can go close for a largely in-form trainer/jockey combination.
