Has a prolific record both on turf and AW, warmed up for this with smooth Dundalk success on the later over 1m on Wednesday. Yet to win beyond 1m2f, but has stayed this far in the past and looks a big player.

Lightly-raced gelding gained first Flat win in 1m4f Bellewstown maiden last week, also has two wins over jumps to his name. Trainer in flying form of late and should be amongst the principles here.

Burst blood vessels at Clonmel in May and beaten over 10L at Naas last week on sole run since (1m2f, good). Yard in form but hard to fancy on recent evidence.

Maiden winner on the Flat for Kevin Prendergast, showing only limited ability. Beaten 6L over 1m at Gowran Park this month (good) and sports first-time tongue tie for this contest upped in distance.

A dual winner in England for Ralph Beckett and Brendan Powell, peak win came off mark of 75 over 1m6f, he's been very disappointing since arriving in Ireland, including over C&D 16 days ago when beaten close to 12L sporting first-time cheekpieces (not retained).

Sole success on the Flat for Richard Hannon came in a Windsor claimer (1m2f, good to soft) in October. Mostly been struggling since joining this top jumps yard, trainer saddles five in this field and others looks more likely to figure.

Aussie Bound2
Age: 8|  Weight: 12-0| J: Diana Hogan Murphy| T: S Fahey| OR:  55

Seven-race maiden was beaten 20L over 1m5f (good to firm) at Navan on Friday evening, hard to see a breakthrough arriving on the back of that effort.

Horse silk
Cadawill10
Age: 8|  Weight: 12-0| J: Paul Devereaux| T: R Sweeney
25/1
A 36-race maiden over jumps whose form in four runs this calendar year is decidedly poor, hard to make any case for a turnaround on first Flat foray.

Jack Blue9
Age: 5|  Weight: 12-0| J: Jessica O'Gara| T: Mrs J Harrington| OR:  52

Now 23 starts without any sign of a breakthrough success after going down more than 17L over this trip at Bellewstown last weekend on good ground. Doesn't appeal.

Shadow Catchert60
Age: 9|  Weight: 12-0| J: Patricia Newman| T: G Elliott| OR:  63
10/1
Previous run in 2m chase at Punchestown in May was a step in the right direction, just being touched off on the line. That was at odds with most of previous form last season. Hasn't run on the Flat since 2015 and no success on the level dating back to 2011.

The Golden Punto10
Age: 5|  Weight: 12-0| J: Fiona Ahern| T: T Cummins| OR:  45
40/1
Nothing in his form thus far suggests he'll be up to playing a forward role in this, beaten 21L over 1m6f (good) at Listowel last month on previous Flat outing. Poor in two maiden hurdles since.
13
Horse silk
Adarenna20
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-12| J: Deborah Mangan| T: J J Hanlon| OR:  46
25/1
Her only win to date in 17 career starts came at Towcester back in November when she captured a 2m novices' handicap chase, unplaced in five previous Flat runs.

Nearly Famous28
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-12| J: Lynne McLoughlin| T: Mrs J Harrington| OR:  73
11/4
Maiden winner at Gowran Park last August (1m1½f, good), found things tougher going handicapping this term but improver effort at Cork last time over this distance when 1¾L sixth behind Moonmeister. Races from 1lb lower mark now and can be given a chance on that evidence.

Forecasts

Zanjabeel (2/1), Nearly Famous (11/4), Six Silver Lane (5/1), Birthplace (6/1), Rideonastar (8/1), Shadow Catcher (10/1), Skeaping (16/1), Jack Blue (16/1), Presenting Julio (16/1), Canova (16/1), Dawerann (16/1), Colonel Maximus (20/1), Adarenna (25/1), Aussie Bound (25/1), Cadawill (25/1), The Golden Punto (40/1)

Verdict

Not a race to be getting carried away with from a punting perspective but SIX SILVER LANE has been paying his own for long enough and he earns the nod having looked good in winning over a mile on the AW at Dundalk already this week. Gordon Elliott has plenty chances and perhaps the best of them is last week's Bellewstown maiden winner Zanjabeel while Nearly Famous showed improved form over this trip at Cork last time out and could have a big say if in the same mood.
  1. Six Silver Lane
  2. Zanjabeel
  3. Nearly Famous
