Thrice-raced filly going the right way, 2L third of 11 in 7f Naas maiden last time out having been sent off 20/1. Sets the standard from those that have run.
Clodovil filly comes to the track representing yard with limited runners, may well need the run and sports tongue tie.
Requinto filly represent yard without a runner on the Flat over the previous 12 months. Likely to have limited expectations here unless market finds enthusiasm.
Remote third at Cork (1m2f, good to firm) on reappearance, that was just a second start and first on turf. Can improve but must do to play a role in the finish.
Improved effort on third start in C&D maiden late last month on yielding ground. Meets much better ground this time in all likelihood, so will have to show she handles it.
US-bred filly made solid start at Cork in April in 1m½f maiden with some give in the ground. Off since but looks to be one of the leading players in this with form of previous race having worked out well.
Beaten more than 16L on debut over the mile at Navan 18 days ago, should improve for that run but others looks more likely to collect here.
Showed some promise in three maidens and went close last time out in mile handicap at Bellewstown, should be at the forefront here for in-from trainer.
Sea The Stars filly is nicely related and will merit plenty attention here on debut for the Weld / Aga Khan connections.
Poor form in maidens so far, drops in distance for this contest but no apparent reason to sense a dramatic turnaround at the sixth time of asking.
Forecasts
Famous Pearl (2/1), Kamili (7/2), Curly Girl (11/2), Muniza (7/1), Above Us Only Sky (8/1), Covetous (9/1), Kailee (16/1), Sonic Wind (20/1), Bridie Healy (50/1), Ali's Girl (66/1)
Famous Pearl looks to have room for improvement having made a satisfactory start at Cork in April and is much respected but this might go the way of KAMILI, who was just touched off in a handicap at Bellewstown last week and can make her experience and race fitness tell now. Her trainer remains in excellent form and she has sound claims of landing this. Above Us Only Sky is another worthy contender on the back of a good show at Naas over 7f while the newcomer Muniza is worth looking out for.
- Kamili
- Famous Pearl
- Above Us Only Sky
