Improved on his French form to win at Goodwood on GB debut and followed that up with a win at Newmarket. Has had some stiff tasks since and the form of the stable this year has not helped.
Beat a subsequent back-to-back winner at Leicester and bumped into improvers on his next two starts. Handicapper is asking for more again but he is clearly progressive and versatile in terms of trip/ground.
Handled softer ground better than expected last time in a sub-standard Class 2 event. A 4lb rise looks more of an automatic reaction than one based on value and he has work to do here. Nevertheless, he gets every assistance from the saddle once more and few of these arrive guaranteed to give their best shot.
Very effective in softer conditions as seen when winning at Nottingham last year and on seasonal reappearance at Doncaster last time out. Probably needs some rain to fall if he's to be considered in this contest and also a little better over a sharper trip than this. Stable are seeking their first winner of the year.
Showed best form in France when allowed to make the running. Has been ridden more conservatively for new yard. Dropped in class and gradually coming down the weights but hard to evaluate him at present.
Dual 1m2f winner in Italy but has failed to beat a rival in his last two starts and is best observed here.
Returned to action by landing a moderate race at Nottingham under forceful tactics. Seems better from marks around the 85 level he raced from there and the extra 5lb in this grade may be asking too much.
Without a win since his promising juvenile days. Last run at Sandown indicated he may have found his level and trip. Looked a shade unlucky that day and the stable have been in good form lately.
Trainer sent out his full-brother Black Schnapps to land three races and he was most effective at this trip. Has now won two from four himself and he landed a gamble in impressive style on his return. This demands more off 8lb higher but the potential is there.
Up 12lb for his defeat of Atty Persse at Haydock and the subsequent exploits of that rival will ensure he attracts plenty of support for this. Both victories have been gained on fast surfaces but as a son of Pivotal he should handle any give that may remain in the ground.
Made a winning reappearance when successful over an extended 1m at Nottingham (good to firm) off a 3lb lower mark last month but well held in three subsequent starts, most recently at Bath. First attempt over this longer trip.

LARAAIB is the only three-year-old in this and that age group have taken three of the last four renewals of this. He has the form credentials too, having beaten Atty Persse last time. There is nothing of that calibre here and he gets the vote to defy a hefty rise in the weights. Angrywhitepyjamas is a potential improver and Mutarakez looked unlucky last time. Burguillos and Banditry are in form and weighted accordingly whilst Pensax Boy shapes as though he has something to offer at this trip.
