Finished runner-up over 7f on the AW at Kempton last October but disappointed on debut for this yard when last of nine at Windsor (good-to-firm) over this distance last month. Worth a check in the market here.
Finished 8L second over 6f in a maiden at Lingfield (good-to-firm) last month but well held on handicap debut at Kempton subsequently. Races off a 2lb lower mark today.
Winner of a C&D handicap on good-to-firm ground by 5L back in May but disappointing over an extended 5f at Bath (firm) when beaten 1L into third as odds-on favourite last time out. Return to 6f should suit here.
Finished runner-up in a claimer on final start for Michael Attwater last month. Finished fourth of nine over 5f at Haydock (good-to-firm) in first time blinkers (retained) on debut for this stable last time and an interesting runner here.
Best effort so far came when 2L third of 16 over 6f at Windsor (good) in a maiden last August. Well beaten over 7f at Doncaster (soft) in a handicap on seasonal debut last month and drops in trip today.
Maiden after ten starts and best effort so far this season came when runner-up over 6f at Haydock (soft) last month. Disappointing off this 1lb higher mark on good ground subsequently and needs to put that latest effort behind her.
Best effort so far came when finishing 4L second over 7f on good ground at Chester last September. Well held since including over 6f in May and tongue tie worn when well beaten last time is retained here.
Forecasts
Zambezi Queen (2/1), Malcolm The Pug (4/1), Bellevarde (9/2), Sheikspear (7/1), Peachey Carnehan (7/1), Miss Anticipation (9/1), Herm (12/1)
ZAMBEZI QUEEN ran well despite being beaten into third when dropping slightly in trip at Bath last time out but she had impressed when winning over C&D prior to that and this return to 6f can see her come out on top in this contest. Bellevarde ran well on soft ground on her penultimate start and can take second while Peachey Carnehan is another of interest today.
