Soft ground was perhaps an excuse for him at York last time, but prior to that he had been going the right way and had made a good reappearance at Thirsk over this trip on fast ground. Now back on a sound surface, there should still be more improvement to be found.
Won a Pontefract maiden over this trip last year, but has been largely campaigned over 6f since. Didn't show his true self at Thirsk when last seen (5f, good to firm) and has been given a bit of time before coming into this. Claims if fully firing, though he does have just a little bit to prove.
Scored twice at Hamilton last season over both 5f/6f and added a further win over this trip to his CV at Ripon last month. Never got truly competitive at Haydock last week, but should be capable of a decent effort from today's mark.
Comes here in good form after two wins at Newcastle over this trip in recent weeks. Does perform on turf, despite not yet winning on it and from 4lb higher than her latest win she will need to raise her game tonight.
Both of her wins have been at Beverley over today's trip, the handicap success being from 4lb lower than today's mark. Has twice gone well from this rating since then, so if you can forgive her latest effort at Haydock she certainly has claims.
At his best when there is cut in the ground, so connections will be hoping for that ahead of the off here, Is only 2lb higher than his most recent win, but recent efforts not the best and looks up against it.
Won a Ripon maiden (5f, good) last season but has yet to land a handicap. Was 2L behind the winner when runner-up at Haydock (5f, good to firm) last week and from the same mark he should again be thereabouts.

A tough race to call but the suggestion now that he returns to a sound surface us COMPUTABLE, who was previously going the right way and can hopefully pick up that thread. The Nazca Lines has been consistent for some time without winning one of these and should again be on the premises, while Hemingway is better than he was able to show last time and Twizzell is another who disappointed last time, but has the form to get involved if in better heart.
