Arcano colt out of an unraced mare who is closely related to Group Three winning juvenile Muthabaras. Not totally unfancied on Newmarket debut when going down narrowly to a strongly fancied Godolphin runner. Stable have struck form lately and they have started to see juvenile winners from those who have had the benefit of a run. Holds a Gimcrack entry and clearly the one to beat. Yard are 6-26 with their juveniles here in July for a 46 points profit.

Fourth foal from the first crop of Camelot and a half-brother to a two-year-old winner Well Done. Dam unraced sister to very smart 7f-1m1f winner Virtual. Belied odds of 66/1 by exhibiting plenty of pace on Leicester debut but this is a much sterner test

Probably better than we have seen but also facing a higher standard of rival than he has faced so far.

Unraced son of Dabirsim led out unsold at €250,000 at the breeze-up sales in May. Dam a winning half-sister to a couple of useful milers and sire has made a good start with his first crop of two-year-old's this year. Stable are 3-6 in the last fortnight and they have already had five juvenile winners.

Half-brother to George William who has done well for the yard in these colours. Yard's juveniles are improving for a run and jockey bookings suggest he is the stable second string.
Shamardal colt out of a dam who was a US Grade 2 winner. Stable had several nominated for this race and solely rely on this Gimcrack entry with the man of the moment booked to ride.

Prince Ahwahnee32
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2| J: A Kirby| T: C G Cox
11/2
Produced a big run on good-to-soft ground at Leicester when coming from behind. Less effective next time under a more positive ride when conditions were quicker. The forecast conditions would appear favourable but you would expect some of these to prove stronger.

Plenty of speed in the pedigree and from a family the trainer knows well. Noted making good late headway after a tardy start at Kempton and looks sure to improve. Another with a Gimcrack entry and, like many from the yard, entitled to come on a great deal for his first run.

Forecasts

Faraasah (5/2), Prestbury Park (9/2), Mankind (5/1), Prince Ahwahnee (11/2), Rebel Streak (6/1), Fighting Irish (15/2), Lethal Lunch (20/1), Mister Maestro (33/1)

Verdict

Prestbury Park and Mankind are the most interesting newcomers with their respective trainers doing well with their youngsters. Prince Ahwahnee and Rebel Streak have run to a reasonable enough standard to suggest they will win races but both have something to find the match the debut effort of FARAASAH. The Arcano colt shaped best of the newcomers at Newmarket and there is no doubt his trainer is in much better form at present, particularly as his juveniles are improving greatly for a run.
  1. Faraasah
  2. Prestbury Park
  3. Rebel Streak
