Holding his form well this season and ran well enough at Chester in higher grade to signal he can be a contender from this mark. One of the few to have run to form from this stable in recent weeks and proven on the ground.
Best effort this term came over this trip at Sandown. That was on quick ground and his worst effort came when there was some give. Stable have been struggling for winners lately and others look more persuasive.
Winner of a 6f maiden for William Haggas. Has gone well off higher marks than this but we have only see the odd flicker of ability lately. Represents a trainer with a 6-25 record here and rider is 6-31 when riding for them. Worth checking in the market.
Runner-up to Heir Of Excitement at Carlisle and should struggle to reverse the placings under these terms. Has produced two good performances since with neither indicating he has made the progress required. May need better ground than this according to pedigree and previous form.
Winner on debut and produced one of her better effort since at Newmarket two weeks ago. The runner-up has boosted the form and she merits respect with cheekpieces now added.
Ten-race maiden who has had everything thrown at him in terms of ground, distance and tactics. Blinkers are the latest weapon employed to end his losing streak.
Handicap mark continues to tumble but with good cause. Impossible to fancy on current form and with stable enduring a poor season with just four winners so far. Finished last on her only previous start on easy ground.
Forecasts
Heir of Excitement (11/4), Lady In Question (11/4), Our Charlie Brown (7/2), Halawain (6/1), Kiribati (10/1), Jumping Around (10/1), Redrosezorro (33/1)
HEIR OF EXCITEMENT looks the pick on current form and with his proven ability on a softer surface. Lady In Question cannot be ruled out as she should handle conditions too and her current form suggests there are races to be won with her. The rest make little appeal on recent evidence and with concerns about the going. Jumping Around has been poor lately but she merits consideration on account of the trainer/jockey combination.
- Heir of Excitement
- Lady In Question
- Jumping Around
