Chase debut tonight, first run for new yard that's made a blistering start and has already turned the fortunes of a couple of similar types around. Hood goes on and jockey booking suggests a big run might be in order. Interesting.
Lightly raced, and likely there's improvement to come, solid enough first chasing effort when third at Plumpton in January (jumped well in the main) but not seen since and likely to need this after an absence.
Jumping has become an issue, and took a heavy fall at the last here in June which won't have done his confidence much good. Ability is there, but can't be backed with any confidence at present.
Often travels well in his races before finding little, so addition of a tongue tie tonight looks a good move. Weakened out of it late at Worcester last time and drop back in trip looks a positive too. Chase debut here but has won a point-to-point, so could go well.
Came good at third attempt over fences when finding a little race at Towcester but most disappointing at Hexham latest and hard to find an excuse as conditions ideal. Upped in trip here and needs to bounce back now.
Yet to win in ten starts but has got a bit closer on last two starts in point-to-points, and has joined a top yard. Market will give best indication of what's expected but clearly has to be given respect.
Finished second at Leicester in January (three runner event) but flattered by proximity to winner, and has shown little since. Makes little appeal here.
May have found trip too far last time, so forgiven that effort, and previous third (in a handicap hurdle) at Kempton a better representation of his form. However, still a maiden after 22 starts, and others easily hold stronger claims.

Not an easy contest to solve. CHAMPAYNE GINGER may well leave his previous form behind now he's joined Dan Skelton and is given a tentative vote. Skilled is another with a similar profile and his new trainer has made a superb start to their career, so again, better could be expected. Civitesses has shown very little but her pedigree screams fences and could go well at a price.
