Picked up a 5f Lingfield handicap (good) last season from a 10lb lower mark, but continued to progress. Was doing his best work at the finish on his reappearance at Redcar (5f, good to firm) last month, so this step up in trip looks positive and from the same mark he could prove tough to beat.
Consistent and has been steadily improving this year, winning a Chelmsford handicap (1m, AW) in March from 12lb lower and finding just one too good in all of his last four outings from today's trip up to 1m. Acts on fast ground and in great heart, though another 2lb rise won't make his task any easier.
4lb lower here than when recording her only win at Lingfield (6f, good to firm) last year. However, she has had a few chances from marks lower than that success and been unable to take advantage, so she is not as easy to fancy as some others in this field.
Another with just the one win to her name, that being over 5f at Wolverhampton in September from 1lb higher. This is her best chance at the weights since then and she was only beaten 1½L over 5½f (good to firm) here in April from 4lb higher. Interesting with headgear employed for the first time.

Forecasts
Maazel (11/8), Delfie Lane (6/4), Whiteley (7/2), Miss Icon (9/2), Prancelina (16/1)
Prancelina is on the sort of mark from which she should be capable of going close here, although her yard's recent form has not been red hot and preference is just for MAAZEL, whose yard is going well and who looked like he was going the right way at Redcar last time. Miss Icon is likely to emerge as the biggest danger.
