Best effort this year came when fourth over 1m4f at Doncaster (soft) in May. Well held twice since but an interesting runner if returning to form in this.
Fair effort when fourth of nine over 1m4f at Hamilton (good-to-firm) on his first run on the Flat since September 2015. Had an unsuccessful spell hurdling in the interim and races off a 2lb lower mark here.
Wore cheekpieces fo rthe first time when finishing fourth over an extended 7f at Tipperary (soft) on his debut for this yard in April. Well held at Navan over 1m on good ground later that month and upped in trip here.
Good effort when finishing third off a 1lb higher mark over 1mf on good ground here in May. Disappointed on soft ground at Hamilton last time out however.
Winner over this distance at Wetherby (good) in May but struggled off higher marks since including over 1m4f at Ripon (good) last time out. Badly hampered at Newcastle prior to that and return to 1m2f should suit.
Sole success in 38 career starts came when winning over hurdles at Musselburgh (good) in February 2015. Well held on the Flat twice in 2017 and others have more obvious chances today.
Ran well when finishing fifth of 12 over an extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton in March but disappointed at Yarmouth (good) over 1m on turf return recently. Placed over this trip in the past.
Best effort in maiden company came when third of ten over 1m at Thirsk (good-to-soft) on her penultimate outing. Filled the same position over that C&D last time out and upped in trip for her handicap debut.
Well held in three maiden races including over this distance at Redcar (good) last month. Interesting runner off a lowly mark for a leading stable on his handicap debut today.
Won twice in a 36 race career so far. Finished third of nine over 1m at Musselburgh (good-to-firm) in May but held since and more needed if he's to take this.
Finished well beaten in blinkers and cheekpieces (retained here) in two starts for this yard in 2017. Won off a higher mark in the past and needs to return to form to take this.
Well beaten in three maiden races and a similar result in two handicap starts for this yard in Ireland last summer. Worth a check in the market with a leading jockey booked to ride on his first outing since last August.
Fair effort on debut in June last year but well beaten twice in 2017 including over 1m last time. Steps up in trip on handicap debut for a yard with a 31% strike-rate (10/32) recently and an interesting runner in this.
Off the mark at the fifth time of asking over 1m1f at Hamilton (good-to-firm) last month. Had finished third over this distance prior to that and interesting to see how he fares today.
Forecasts
Regal Mirage (4/1), Mostawfee (5/1), Lopito de Vega (6/1), Blankiedoodie (13/2), Zacchetto (10/1), Mr Sundowner (11/1), Remember Rocky (12/1), Uriah Heep (12/1), John Caesar (18/1), Les Pecheurs (22/1), Let Right Be Done (25/1), Harbour Belle (25/1), Whitchurch (33/1), Silver Duke (40/1)
ZACCHETTO can make a winning handicap debut off a lowly mark in this 1m2f handicap. The selection hails from a leading stable and is taken to get the better of last time out winner and fellow three-year-old Regal Mirage in a competitive looking event. Of the remainder Mostawfee ran well on his debut for this stable in April and can claim third on his first attempt at this trip while Harbour Belle is another worthy of consideration here.
- Zacchetto
- Regal Mirage
- Mostawfee
