Has taken time this season to build on last year's efforts but latest run over C&D on good-to-soft ground confirmed he was there. Has the services of a rider with 24 winners under rules and likely to be involved if able to handle the forecast quicker conditions.

Trainer and rider have been a formidable force in these events and boast a 13-57 strike rate for a 23 points level stakes profit. Has a better profile on AW surfaces but he went well enough over 1m4f at Ripon last time to suggest he will be in the mix here.

Lightly campaigned since his debut success in 2015. Recent form is unconvincing and it remains to be seen if blinkers have a positive effect.

Has gone 24 races and almost three years since his last success. Stable have been quieter of late and this may not be the time for him to end that run.

Ridden to get this trip on his fist attempt last time. Gave every indication he will get this far and has claims for a father and daughter combination that had a winner at Wolverhampton on Monday.

Broke his duck at Wolverhampton in April and has struggled off his revised mark since. Gets some respite here as he tackles a new trip under a rider with a career record of 4-44.

Still a maiden and well held on his latest start at Ripon (possibly unsuited by the soft ground). Fifth the time before at Wolverhampton would be his best recent run but work to do even based on that performance.

Produced one of his better efforts on his last race over this trip. Remains a maiden after 15 races and headgear reveals he is not straightforward.

Signs of ability on AW tracks and best turf form has come with some give underfoot. Irish amateur booked by a yard that had a winner with their first runner on Tuesday.

Three wins in 2011-2012 but has drawn a blank since and he has raced over much further lately. Has flattered to deceive on a number of occasions since his last victory and remains to be seen if a change of scenery can inspire him. Rider has a 3-13 career record.

Veteran is a good ride for an amateur and latest run over this trip at Ayr confirms his wellbeing. Had a few of these behind that day and there is every chance he can give his rider her first winner.

Verdict

Ted's Brother can generally be relied upon in this class of event and arrives following a solid effort at Ayr last time when a few of these were behind. He looks set to be thereabouts once more but may find SWANSWAY too good for him. He represents a trainer/rider combination to be feared in these races and his latest effort underlines he is standing his racing well. An ability to get further than this can be an asset as they often go a strong gallop and Cougar Kid looks set to do just that. Spinart and Diamonds A Dancing have respected riders on board and boast solid each-way claims.
