In tremendous form coming into this, having completed a hat-trick at this trip on good or softer ground. Escapes a penalty for the latest win at Nottingham as that was an apprentice race and he looks to have very solid claims of a four-timer as a result.
Now 19lb lower than when scoring over 1m at Newmarket (good to firm) in May last year, but out of form since and there have been few beams of light to suggest that he is nearing the end of the tunnel. Looks best watched for now.
0-15 but has gone close to breaking his duck twice from his last three starts, both over this trip. Is on the same mark as when beaten just over 1L at Leicester last time, won't mind any rain, and cheekpieces are now added to try and add a bit extra to his effort. Looks a contender.
0-9 so far under both codes, although his two handicap runs recently have suggested that a win may not be an impossible dream. A further 3lb drop here will help and he could get involved. Acts on good or softer ground.
Just about gets home over this trip, although yet to win over this far and arguably also best on fast ground. Recent efforts suggest that the handicapper also has her measure for now and others are preferred.
Handicapper has been in control in three runs in this sphere so far. Now drops back in trip, but looks likely to need to slide a few pounds more before we see him among the the prizes.
Steps up to this trip for the first time after 40 starts, the furthest he has won over being 1m on the All Weather. Has his first start for this trainer today and it is likely to be a sighter, unless the market speaks particularly well of his chance.
Well held in two of his three maiden runs and now makes his handicap debut from a workable mark and with cheek pieces added. Potent trainer/jockey combination at this venue suggest that he is very much one to check out in the market, now also stepped up to this trip.
Put up his best effort on debut (6f, good) last year. Has run some reasonable races in defeat since then and was beaten less than 2L at Newbury (1m, good to firm) last time. Same mark today and this trip may help eek out a bit more, although pedigree suggests that he will have to prove himself over it.
Goes well here and particularly at Hamilton. Last of his seven wins was here over 1m3½f in 2015 from a 20lb higher mark and ran well back over that trip here last August from 12lb higher. Has failed to figure since and now drops in trip. Plenty to prove.

With plenty of the field out of sorts or in the grip of the handicapper it could still be a good opportunity for MININGROCKS to complete a four-timer, after he escaped a penalty for winning an apprentice event last time. Punkawallah may well emerge as a danger on his handicap debut, while Arithmetic is on the sort of mark from which he should compete and Anton Chigurh is another who can get involved.
