On a good mark and should come on for his return to action last week. Back to his optimum trip and yard's horses have been going better lately.
Landed a couple last autumn and latest effort signalled he was approaching his peak. Seems perfectly at home in a big field and cheekpieces have been removed (seems equally happy with or without).
Proved himself a top class juvenile by making the frame in the Coventry Stakes and the July Stakes. Missed the whole of 2016 and his efforts this season do little to suggest he is ready to prove himself off this mark.
Both victories have come over a mile in France. Highly tried on his last start here and interesting to see cheekpieces go on having appeared not to sustain efforts in recent races.
Took a big step forward when runner-up in a competitive York handicap on his return last month. Had a few of these behind that day and a 4lb rise is asking for some improvement which is entirely likely. Looks a big player in this for a top yard with a good record here.
Winner of four of his eight starts including two at this specialist trip. Ground possibly to blame for his latest defeat but the fitting of blinkers suggest there may have been other contributory factors.
Hasn't added to his Newmarket win of 2013 in 20 subsequent outings and on his old form he would appear to be thrown in here. There were more positive signs last time and the stable are in better form now.

SUN LOVER produced a career best effort at York last time and faces opponents here who appear to have questions to answer. Claim The Roses should be thereabouts off a reasonable mark with the benefit of a recent run whilst Classic Seniority generally does well in large fields and appeared to be coming back to his best last time. Qeyaadah is entered at Epsom on Thursday and would be interesting if routed here instead.
