Signs of ability in three starts in maidens, all over the mile, there could be better to come now sent handicapping and merits respect.
Some promising efforts in maidens last year and ran a fine race on final start at Leopardstown off a mark of 76 (7f, yielding). May have needed reappearance run, first-time hood on now and top jockey booked.
Well beaten in four starts to date, latest in 1m Limerick handicap (good to firm) when finishing 6½L off the pace in seventh of eighth. Plenty more needed but open to doing better.
Landed 1m handicap at Navan last time out with an improved run, has the form to suggest another bold bid is possible from increased mark.
Couple of decent placed efforts from four runs this season, mixed in with two average offerings. Latest being 11¾L defeat when well down the field in Fairyhouse claimer over 7f on Wednesday.
Winner of a 1m handicap on the AW at Dundalk in May off a mark of 64, form on turf is much less convincing however and poor in two runs since (6L behind Sweetasever at Navan last month).
Much-improved effort last time at Leopardstown when 4½L in 1m handicap on just second turf start (Noble Intention second). Is rated 1lb lower here, lightly-raced and there could be more to come.
Left previous form well behind when easily winning Ballinrobe handicap (1m1f, yielding to soft) ten days ago. Handicapper has issued a 12lb rise for that facile win which makes things interesting.
Best effort on turf came over extended-mile at Cork 19 days ago when 2½L sixth of 12 runners. Previously had been well beaten by Sweetasever as Navan, can close down the gap on more recent evidence.
Limited ability in two maidens last year before being out of her depth in Listed fillies' contest over a mile at the Curragh on final start. This looks more her level if ready to go after 271 days off.
Almost caused 33/1 shock on reappearance over 7f at Gowran Park late last month, though didn't run as well back there three days ago. Hard to assess for that reason.
Limited signs of ability from the filly in three appearances at Dundalk so far, major shock to see her winning this on turf/handicap bow.
Beaten best part of 20L over 7½f on handicap bow at Tipperary eight days ago, much room for improvement and seems best watched at this point.
Forecasts
Noble Intention (4/1), Greenpanda (9/2), Richard Strauss (5/1), Magwadiri (7/1), Sweetasever (7/1), Delegating (8/1), Cloudy Miss (10/1), Wild Shot (10/1), Kamili (12/1), Rooney O'mara (25/1), Poetical Dreamer (33/1), Baffin Bay (33/1), Moral Fibre (40/1)
Greenpanda is the starting point having sluiced through the field last time out at Ballinrobe. That was a much-improved performance but it has been duly noted by the handicapper and the follow up will not be easy after a 12lb hike. Sweetasever was also on the mark last time out and has proved in the past that she is a credible threat off her current rating. Handicap debutant Kamili is worth a check while the improving Cloudy Miss should go well but it may be worth chancing DELEGATING. She ran well in a fillies' nursery to end last season and the form has worked out well. She may have needed the run on reappearance at the Curragh and looks fairly-treated here with first-time hood and Smullen booked.
- Delegating
- Cloudy Miss
- Sweetasever
