Pulled too hard for his own good when second to Murillo here in late May but settled much better when scoring at Down Royal a fortnight ago. Getting the hang of things now and although small field not ideal for cover, should progress again.
No disgrace in getting beaten by the speedy Alpha Centauri at Naas in May and ran that form almost to the pound when sixth in the Albany Stakes at Ascot on her latest start. No issues with quick ground and has to be a player here.
Showed a good attitude when winning on debut at Naas and her form there ties her in closely with Wolfofbaggotstreet here. No fancy entries but the sort to progress again and can't be discounted.
Has taken a step forward on each of her four runs, and has shown that quick ground holds no terrors with victory at Bath on latest start. That form needs improving on if she's to prevail here though, and others look stronger at this stage.
Improving quickly with each run, a solid debut at Naas (behind Actress) followed up by a close second at The Curragh and bettered again with an excellent fourth in the Queen Mary last time. This is easier and a repeat of that makes her the one to beat here.
Has run to a good level of form already and twice a winner in Dundalk in April marked her out as a sharp, early type. No disgrace in finishing midfield in the Queen Mary latest but may find others improving past her tonight.
Forecasts
Actress (4/5), Now You're Talking (11/4), Wolfofbaggotstreet (6/1), Sirici (14/1), India Rain (14/1), Lynn's Memory (25/1)
NOW YOU'RE TALKING is improving with each start and can take this en route to better things. Her fourth in the Queen Mary makes her the one to beat here. Actress beat the selection at Naas earlier in the season but her progression has perhaps stalled for the time being and she may struggle to confirm the form. Nevertheless, she looks a clear second best ahead of Wolfofbaggotstreet and India Rain.
