Progressive gelding who relished the step up 1m4f at Salisbury (good to soft) last week when forging clear to win by 8L. Obvious appeal under just a 6lb penalty, though easier ground would be ideal. Yard won this prize last year.
Expensive Frankel colt who made a winning start over 1m3f (good to firm) in May but could never get competitive in a Listed event at Goodwood last time. Cheekpieces introduced as he bids to get back on track.
Didn't look the easiest of rides in his first two starts but narrowly held on to open his account at the third attempt at Lingfield (1m3f, good) in May. Opening handicap mark looks fair but no easy task.
Signed off last season with a win on the AW and opened up this year with a game success over 1m2f at Chelmsford. Doing best work at the finish when a 2L third over 1m3f (soft) at Carlisle last time but more needed here.
Has taken time to come to hand but finally delivered at the fifth attempt when winning a Salisbury maiden (1m2f, good to soft) in good style last week, beating Perogative by 5L. Has to be respected upped up in trip under a 6lb penalty.
A shock 100/1 over 1m here (good to firm) winner on his third maiden start in April but has struggled to land a meaningful blow in two handicaps since, most recently over this trip at Goodwood. Others appeal more.
A maiden winner over 1m (good to soft) as a juvenile but hasn't quite kicked on as expected, though took a step in the right direction when a 2L fourth at Goodwood in first-time blinkers. Others look better handicapped right now.

There was a lot to like about the recent victories of Special Relation (Pontefract) and See of Rome (Salisbury) and both are likely to continue on an upward trajectory here but it's still hard to look beyond ON TO VICTORY. Eve Johnson Houghton's gelding looked very much one to keep on the right side of when forging clear to score a decisive win on his first attempt at this trip at Salisbury last week and a 6lb penalty may not be enough to anchor him.
