Big Bad Bob gelding, cost 34,000 gns as a yearling. He has run a couple of nice races so far in maidens and should go close here, though the yard are going through a lean spell.
A bit keen last time at the Curragh over 6f in a race won by Alpha Centauri. Previous effort over this trip on debut was much better. Could bounce back.

Has twice come within a whisker over this trip at Cork and again ran pleasing race Down Royal 12 days ago. There or thereabouts and surely will shed maiden tag soon.

Has shown some promise in three maidens and, while not an apparent winner in waiting, can't be discounted. May be best seen going handicapping.

Al Kazeem filly ran nice race over 5f at Cork last month, confounding any worries she might lack for toe as she finished 4ÂľL third of eight runners. Can progress from that.

Has already gone close on two occasions in 5f maidens on good ground at Navan and Down Royal. Hood goes on first time here and filly will get in if she keeps knocking on the door.
Daughter of Canford Cliffs hasn't exactly been progressing in maidens so far and she ran her worst race over this trip at Cork last month, finishing tailed off. Hard to fancy at the moment.

Forecasts

Brick By Brick (5/4), Damselfly (11/4), Golden Spell (9/2), Rhythm Of Love (10/1), My Silver Nails (12/1), Camacho Dancer (12/1), Dandy Sue (16/1), Sandbanks Road (25/1)

Verdict

Brick By Brick is a decent starting point based on his solid debut effort at the Curragh and, while he didn't build on it next time out, this drop back in trip should be a plus. A concern however is the form of the Harrington team (2/33) and he is passed over. Camacho Dancer was perhaps too keen last time when fading behind a very good animal and should be given another chance while Damselfly is surely going to get a win on the board soon after some close calls. Similar is true of MY SILVER NAILS, who has shown enough already to suggest the hood being added here could allow her breakthrough. The once-raced Al Kazeem filly Golden Spell is also on the shortlist after a positive debut showing.
  1. My Silver Nails
  2. Damselfly
  3. Brick By Brick
