No stable star but had shown promise maidens before opening his account at Yarmouth over 7f on his handicap debut. That form has worked out well enough with the third picking up two races since. Drops a furlong for this and now 3lb higher. Not ideally drawn but top rider booked who is 7-31 for the yard.

All four wins have been gained on AW surfaces and switches back following three turf runs which have been just below the levels attained last winter. Stable in form and rider good value for his claim.

Broke his maiden tag in a poor race at Southwell and only poor run since came on bad ground. Appears on a fair mark and has a good draw. Stable had two winners on Monday.

Sole victory in 17 starts came on easy ground at Pontefract. Placed but readily beaten on two previous AW starts for a sire who has a poor strike rate on the surface.

Continues to drop in the weights but is looking exposed and hard to place. Returns to the scene of his best recent effort but others look more likely.

Victorious in an AW maiden at Lingfield over 5f in January. Runner-up on turf at the same venue a month ago and the third has won since. Looks set to give another good account of herself with the stable going well.

Has shown some ability in maidens but handicapper has taken few risks with his opening handicap mark. Looks up against it with a poor draw to overcome.

Gets a 5lb pull with a 1L to find with Comprise on Windsor running last month. Has since been readily outpointed at Lingfield when once again finding little at the business end and Comprise would be expected to confirm the placings.

A change in scenery and the application of cheekpieces appear to have worked for this filly who returned to form at Lingfield two weeks ago. Up in grade but remains on the same mark and well drawn.

Failed to exploit a handicapping loophole on penultimate start and never looked likely to beat his stablemate two weeks ago. Change of rider tonight but chances are the handicapper has his measure for now.

Sliding down the weights but looks held on form by a few of these. Jockey booking looks interesting (1-2 for the yard).

Forecasts

Blue On Blue (2/1), Comprise (7/2), Father Mckenzie (11/2), Kings Heart (10/1), Monteamiata (12/1), Nuzha (12/1), Malcolm The Pug (14/1), Kamra (16/1), Dandy Flame (16/1), Eskimo Bay (20/1), Silver Penny (40/1)

Verdict

Monteamiata and Comprise represent yards who are going well at present and both horses are running well at present. Both should be thereabouts but BLUE ON BLUE is taken to overcome a tricky draw and build on his Yarmouth success. That form has been franked since and with more improvement likely he can account for Nuzha. The filly has improved for a stable switch and application of headgear. She has a good draw and can give the selection the most to do.
  1. Blue On Blue
  2. Nuzha
  3. Comprise
