Fair hurdler and placed at Listed level at his peak on the Flat. Off the track more than 18 months and in capable hands. Well beaten on only AW start when sent off favourite.
Missed the whole of 2016 but enjoyed a good campaign in 2015 which included runner-up spots at Royal Ascot and Goodwood's July festival. Proved expensive to follow over hurdles this year and switches back to her previous handler. Stable in excellent form and one to note in the betting as she is on an attractive mark if retaining her ability.
Won the Cesarewitch back in 2015 but has a stiff task here and he was well beaten at York last time in a handicap off a mark of 84. Sure to stay this far at least but up against it on current form
Four of his five victories have come here over a variety of distances. Won with something to spare over C&D last time and a 4lb rise seems more than fair. Rarely runs a bad race and has been competitive from similar marks before.
Has returned from an absence to go down in two battles when supported. There would appear to be some issues with cheekpieces added last time now replaced with blinkers. Tackles a new trip but his dam was runner-up in an Irish St. Leger. Stable in form and the trainer has a good record with his stayers.
Ran his best race for some while when stepping up to this trip last month. That form has been devalued since and this is a much better race.
Winner of a weak race in France for Andre Fabre and faced a stiff task at the weights on debut for new handler. Dropped 5lb and should come on for the run. Makes AW debut having shown his best form with some give underfoot.
C&D winner who is in tremendous form at present and who produced a career best when romping home at Chepstow last month. Up another 8lb and raised significantly in class but not to be underestimated.

Clowance One (5/4), King Calypso (9/4), Next Train's Gone (3/1), Lanceur (7/1), Grumeti (10/1), Multigifted (10/1), Taws (16/1), Age Of Wisdom (40/1), Handazan (40/1)
A good renewal of this race in which four-year-olds have a good record having taken six of the last ten renewals. Multigifted fits the age category and arrives on the back of a fluent success at Chepstow and she has C&D form. She is raised significantly in class and preference is for NEXT TRAIN'S GONE. The Newmarket raider has completed a hat-trick over this trip and won by a wide margin at Chelmsford last time. The runner-up went down by a nose at Sandown next time so the form looks even better now. He takes a more modest step up in grade and is taken to confirm C&D superiority over King Calypso who rarely runs a bad race here. Clowance One is considered on his step up to this distance but there are fears he may not be too straightforward.
