Well held in three turf starts this year, including last time out when beaten 6½L over this trip at Naas (yielding). Has slipped 12lb below previous winning mark but needs to bring something more to the table.

Returned from a layoff with tame run over 7f at Naas (yielding) 15 days ago. No win anywhere since October 2015 but did go close in AW claimer at Dundalk in December.

Unable to register in six AW starts for previous yard, hard to confident on first start for this handler but previous turf form suggests this isn't insurmountable.

Best of her recent efforts have come over 5f, she was comprehensively beaten last time out at the Curragh over 6f, but has won over this trip in the past. First-time cheekpieces on today.

Excellent form early this year on the AW at Dundalk but hasn't been able to reproduce that since switching to turf so far. Has to hold claims dropping into claiming company.

First start for this yard came off a 252-day layoff over 7f at Naas (yielding) seven days ago. Was beaten more than 15L there but may find this more to his liking with benefit of the run.

Promising effort over a mile at Leopardstown (good to firm) 13 days ago, finishing clear second behind impressive winner Jet Setting. Good claims here with a repeat.

Veteran performer was beaten just over 3L at Naas over this trip on return from a short break. Has been running consistently this year and an 18th career success is not to be ruled out.

First start for new yard, was in good form on the AW last summer but remains a maiden on turf. Must defy a 155-day layoff to score.

Struggling to recapture best form since switching to this yard. Was beaten 8L over this trip at Naas last time out. Up against it on recent efforts.

Very few signs of ability in three maidens or last month's handicap debut over 1m at Navan. Tough to recommend on what he has done up until now.

Tried in Listed company on second of two runs last year, returned to action with 13L defeat in Listowel maiden over 1m last month. Not discounted dropped into this class.

Tame stuff in five outings to date, yard have been quiet with runners recently and this one doesn't make significant appeal.

Another with a poor CV so far, unplaced in six starts and sent off big prices in all of them. Yard have been doing ok of late, but this one looks best watched.

Forecasts

Bubbly Bellini (4/1), Noble Intention (5/1), Burn The Boats (11/2), Palavicini Run (6/1), Seanie (13/2), Captain Cullen (7/1), Vocal Activity (12/1), Jammy Guest (16/1), Opt Out (25/1), Power Of Ten (33/1), Hey Hey Alejandro (40/1), Free To Roam (50/1), Passionatta (50/1), Intense Starlet (50/1)

Verdict

NOBLE INTENTION produced a solid effort last time out at Leopardstown to fill the runner-up berth. A repeat of that effort might well be enough to get the job done at this level. The veteran Bubbly Bellini also ran well last time out at Naas and has generally been running well this year so there's every chance he'll go close to an 18th career success. Burn The Boats has not been able to transmit his AW form to the turf so far but he does find perhaps his best chance yet while it would be interesting to see money behind Vocal Activity.
  1. Noble Intention
  2. Bubbly Bellini
  3. Burn The Boats
