Proving to be a little frustrating to follow, having been placed in five successive starts, the last of them being the only one on turf (Leicester, 5f, good to firm). Starts on the same mark today and cheek pieces now discarded, but if she handles the ground she should go very well.

At his best on turf when there is cut in the ground, but while he has continued to win on the All Weather, you have to go back 14 months to find his last turf success (Ayr, 6f, good to soft). Now 17lb lower than that and gets his conditions here. Well beaten recently, but support for this veteran would still be interesting.

Verdict

Dutch Dream goes well here and is very much respected from a 5lb higher mark than when scoring last time over C&D. However, she is unproven on the ground and that is not the case with top weight CULLODEN, who looks to have solid claims in this grade. Captain Scooby is lurking on a dangerously low mark and may still have a race such as this in him, while Joysunny and Maggi May are others who should be thereabouts.
