Winner twice in the spring of 2016 and returning from a five month absence when second to a much higher rated rival at Musselburgh in October. Well beaten and no impression on all four starts this season. Now dropped in class, 2lb lower than last handicap start and first time hood fitted here.

Filly was a dual C&D winner as a 2yo and had a rating of 91 in Ireland for Dermot Weld. Moved to current yard by owner Frank Gillespie (The Grey Gatsby)

Won over the minimum trip at Chester last year but couldn't back that effort up in the Weatherby's Super Sprint at Newbury. Ninth of 10, beaten 15L on seasonal debut in a York class 2 handicap over 6f. Should come on for that run and stable in good form right now.

Won twice over this trip in the space of a week as a juvenile in August 2016 and demonstrated at Group 3 level later that campaign that she handles good to soft ground. Struggled so far this season on three starts.

Scored three times in 2016, and showed her toughness with gritty AW successes at Newcastle and Southwell in November. Last of six on seasonal debut in a Carlisle class 4 handicap over 6f, on soft ground last month.

Good third of 13 at York on debut and followed that up with a win in a Chelmsford maiden last year. Some promise when unfancied in her comeback run at Doncaster three starts back and built on that when she went close at Ripon latest, before finishing an encouraging third of 10, beaten 2L behind Eartha Kitt, when beaten favourite at York in June.

Handicap winner over 6f at Ayr in June off a 10lb lower mark when a short-priced favourite she only ran respectably when attempting to follow-up at Hamilton, before winning a Leicester 6f handicap on preferred good ground.

Forecasts

Partitia (15/8), The Feathered Nest (3/1), Love Oasis (7/2), Avon Breeze (7/1), Tilly Trotter (20/1), Glenrowan Rose (20/1), Spin Doctor (25/1), Hope Solo (33/1)

Verdict

Expect to see LOVE OASIS to grab the early lead here from stall 2, with Richard Fahey's Spin Doctor following close behind. The selection ran respectably when attempting to follow-up, a win at Ayr, at Hamilton, before winning a Leicester 6f handicap on preferred good ground. Tilly Trotter, could have a change of tactics here on debut for for new yard.
