Made a winning debut for this yard over 6f at Newbury (soft) in May but disappointed off a 4lb higher mark at Epsom (good) subsequently. Races off the same mark here and not written off just yet.
C&D winner off a 9lb lower mark on good ground a month ago and ran well to finish runner-up under a penalty at Nottingham (good-to-soft) dropping to 5f subsequently. Return to 6f should suit and an interesting runner here.
Winner over this distance at The Curragh (yielding) in a valuable contest last September. Well beaten off a 6lb higher mark the following month and a similar result on seasonal debut at Newmarket last month. Rain would enhance his prospects in this.
Ran well to finish runner-up in first time cheekpieces at Chelmsford in April. Held in handicap company twice on turf since and races off a mark 2lb lower than for his most recent success today.
Finished a head second over 6f at Doncaster (good-to-firm) last time out. Races off a 2lb higher mark today and won off a 6lb higher mark on the AW at Dundalk last November.
Completed a treble when winning on the AW at Wolverhampton last November and stepped up on his seasonal debut when finishing 4L second to Stake Acclaim over C&D on good ground last month. Races off the same mark here and one to consider in this.
Finished a close third over 6f at York (soft) on his most recent appearance back in May. Had been held on his seasonal debut at Doncaster prior to that and races off the same mark today.
Failed to trouble the judge in three turf starts since being beaten a nose over 6f on the AW at Kempton in April. Races off a mark 9lb higher than when winning over C&D last August.
Made the frame in a couple of 5f handicaps this year including in a valuable event at Epsom (good) when finishing strongly a month ago. Races off a 1lb lower mark and has placed over this trip in the past. Leading contender here.
Beaten 1L into second over 6f at Goodwood (good) last month but disappointing at Doncaster (good-to-firm) subsequently. Looks likely to be playing a minor role in this event.
Winner of an AW handicap off a 2lb higher mark in December 2014 but lightly raced since and had just two starts in France for previous stable last year. Probably best watched on his debut for a new stable here.
Running well this season having finished runner-up to Blaine over 6f at Newbury (soft) in May and following that up with a third behind Stake Acclaim over C&D last time out. Interesting runner off the same mark today.
Five time winner including when spring a surprise over C&D in May. Held three times since including on good-to-firm ground at Nottingham last time and others make more appeal despite a 1lb drop in the weights.

Ice Age (5/2), Dark Shot (5/1), Dougan (11/2), Stake Acclaim (6/1), Lincoln (9/1), Kadrizzi (12/1), Upstaging (14/1), Little Palaver (14/1), Stellarta (20/1), Blaine (20/1), Englishman (25/1), Iseemist (33/1), New Bidder (40/1), Secondo (66/1)
DARK SHOT caught the eye when finishing a fast finishing second on his penultimate outing and he can take this competitive handicap having finished fifth in a Listed event last time out. Stake Acclaim was a winner over this C&D last month and can claim second today ahead of the horse he beat on that occasion Upstaging who has made the frame in three of his four starts here.
- Dark Shot
- Stake Acclaim
- Upstaging
