Remains 7lb above previous winning mark and was badly out of sorts at Gowran Park early this month (1m1½f, soft to heavy). Goes up in distance but has plenty to find on form.
Is on a workable mark and tends to need a run to bring his best stuff this month outing over 1m5f (good) at Navan should have helped him along nicely.
Very smart hurdler hasn't been spotted since fair run in the 2015 Cesarewitch at Newmarket. Defying a 629-day layoff in this competitive heat will be tough, but he isn't to be underestimated for leading jumps yard.
Losing streak is out to 14 now, has run some credible races in that sequence though was well held ten days ago over 1m2f at Naas in a claimer. Yet to score in a dozen attempt on turf.
A dual winner in England for Ralph Beckett and Brendan Powell, peak win came off mark of 75 over 1m6f, he's been very disappointing since arriving in Ireland. First-time cheekpieces applied now but tough to be confident.
Returned from more than a year off with very fair run over 1m2f (good) at the Curragh this month. Pick of his form gives him claims and trainer / jockey combined to win Cork Derby recently, big run could be in the offing.
Hasn't won in nine Flat starts since debut maiden at Gowran Park over 1m2f in April 2014. Some smart hurdling form in the book and while doesn't win many, returning blinkers could make him a place contender.
Has won over hurdles recently and ran sound race over 1m2f at the Curragh this month on Flat return. Yet to win on the Flat but shouldn't be ruled out completely.
Three-time Flat winner, twice over this trip, there was plenty to like about effort in 1m2f Curragh event this month when faring best of those that run here. That was off the back of a long layoff and has to enter calculations.
Winner over hurdles at Tramore (2m, good) in April, best previous efforts on the Flat still leave him with plenty to find. Others make more appeal here.
Returned from 230-day absence to finish fourth of 14 (beaten 4¼L) at Leopardstown this month over 1m5f (yielding to soft). That was a promising effort and has a chance in this field if building on it.
Filly with a consistent profile, she just held on over 1m4f at Cork (good to firm) last month on second start back from a break. She's 5lb higher now but has won over the C&D before and is likely to give this a bold try.
Flopped on jumps debut at Navan in April but had previously recorded back-to-back AW wins at Dundalk (both over 1m2f). Case can be made now back on the level if still in the same mood.
Doesn't win often (2/24 on turf) and not able to stick head in front since September 2015. Was 7¾L behind Mademoiselle Penny at Cork in ninth of 15 last time out and has plenty to find despite being 9lb below previous winning mark.
Yet to win in 11 turf starts, had disappointed this year on AW and over hurdles before last-time-out run at Fairyhouse over 1m5f (yielding to soft) which brought 23L defeat. Cheekpieces back on now.
Steady improvement of late in tackling longer trips, beaten less than 2L at Fairyhouse a fortnight ago over this trip on good ground. That run ensures some respect coming into this competitive heat.
Filly has been going in the right direction this season, winning twice over shorter trips, narrowly denied at Fairyhouse last time over this trip a fortnight ago, she could still have more to offer.
Has been well backed on a number of occasions without getting the win. Tends to run well more often than not, didn't get the clearest of runs at Gowran Park on Sunday (1m1½f, good) and is on the shortlist on the back of that result.
Fair start for this trainer coming off a layoff when beaten just over 5L in Limerick contest over 1m3½f in the middle of the month. Improvement not ruled out if he gets in (First Reserve).

Thomas O'malley was perhaps a bit unfortunate at Gowran Park on Sunday and can be given a chance here, though he has not delivered despite plenty market support before. Slaney Street looked good tackling this trip recently and should go well while Steelyeyed has similar credentials on the back a narrow defeat at Fairyhouse last time. Poitin took advantage of a good opportunity when winning at Leopardstown last time and may have more to give while smart hurdler Bayan returns from a long layoff for the Gordon Elliott yard, but is respected on his 2015 Cesarewitch form just the same. Zeftan showed up well at the Curragh this month off a break but so, too, did WHATSFORUWONTGOBYU over a shorter trip at Cork. He represents the Cork Derby winning trainer/jockey team and, on the evidence of that run, could give them another success here.
