Looks more effective on the AW than turf and drop back to the minimum trip not certain to be in his favour. First-time blinkers applied.
Finally took advantage of the handicappers leniency last time at Sandown when well backed and not dismissed off 6lb higher here but there's no certainty he will arrive in the same form and never looked as effective on a softer surface. Seemingly up against it.
Has won three of his six starts on the AW but yet to score on turf in 13 attempts. Ran well on soft ground at Chester two starts back though and ran well in a valuable handicap at York when last seen at odds of 33/1. Interesting runner and 5f on soft ground could be right up his street.
Very useful on his day but all his wins have come over further than this and always struggled on ground softer than good. Never scored on the turf off a mark this high and looks up against it returning from a break.
Not won since 2014 and all wins have come over further than this. Well beaten on his seasonal return earlier in the month and plenty to prove now but will like the softer conditions at least.
Won back-to-back races nearly a year ago but struggled off her revised mark since. Not disgraced when tried on rain softened ground a couple of times and can't be dismissed here if she gets a strong pace to aim at.
