Off the mark at Redcar (6F good) late last month when keeping on well to repel Yorkshire Pudding. Makes his handicap and AW debut over this longer trip.
Showed steady progress in maidens before winning over an extended mile on AW debut at Wolverhampton earlier this month. The runner up Yaarmen has won a small race at Newmarket since, so no reason to knock that form. Makes his handicap debut for a trainer known to have the odd Newcastle AW winner.
His best effort came on debut when chasing home the weekend winner Batten the Hatches over 6F here in February, but he's struggled on grass since. His opening mark looks fair and he's likely to be suited by a return to Tapeta on his first attempt at this trip.
Five race maiden, and not made giant strides since switched to handicaps, but did finish third to Dandy Highwayman at Hamilton (6F good) a couple of weeks ago. Seems effective at this track and connections try 7F for the first time.
Made it 12th time lucky when winning over a mile here last month (beat Mimic's Memory by a head). Upped 4lb and unable to follow up on turf at Beverley, but not one to be dismissed back at this track.
Never on terms upped to 1m at Leicester in late May. Her best form as a juvenile came over 5F, and the fear is that she'll struggle here despite a small drop in the weights.
Followed up a couple of promising AW runs by bolting up over C&D in a very winnable classified stakes in mid May. Up an eye-watering 11lb which looks excessive.
A nine race maiden who generally runs some kind of race without doing enough to really threaten to break his duck. Tries this trip on a stiff track for the first time so could be vulnerable unless well handled by a strong jockey.
Plugged on without getting competitive at Beverley on his return from an almost twelve month break. Looks short on speed so this fairly testing track should suit, and with this locally born trainer always keen to saddle winners during these three days is worth monitoring in the market on handicap debut. Wears first time cheek-pieces.
Disappointed last time, but has run a few reasonable races including over C&D in the past. However, remains a maiden after 12 starts and needs to reproduce his March second to Scala Regia to be ultra competitive.

Rey Loopy has been given a hefty rise for winning a classified stakes over C&D last month and could struggle from an 11lb higher mark. Similar comments apply to Champion Harbour, up 4lb since winning narrowly over a mile at this track. Hitchcock could play a leading role if fully tuned up from an enforced break whilst Pastime looks the pick of the recent maiden winners (also Black Salt) who make their handicap debuts. However, ARTHURTHEDELEGATOR gets the vote as he looks strong and effective over this 7F trip. He was spotted doing good late work over an inadequate 6F having made the long journey south to Chepstow earlier this month.
