Sole success came in a C&D maiden in March (runner up a subsequent winner), but unable to replicate that since in handicaps. Probably just high enough in the weights for now.
Generally disappointing throughout 2016, but has slipped to an attractive mark as a result and seemingly on the way back judged upon his recent Beverley third. Yet to race on synthetics, and blinkers are added in an attempt to freshen him up further.
A major improver on Tapeta at Wolverhampton during the spring of 2016 (landed a hat-trick), and has returned in decent order this year with a string of consistent runner up efforts. Whilst his form on this surface is rock-solid, the stiffer track might just find him out over this trip.
Seemingly nowhere near as effective on Tapeta as Fibresand and comfortably beaten (last of eight) over C&D to Shargiah on his most recent outing last month. Dropped 1lb.
Made the most of an easing AW mark (67) when beating Henpecked by 1¾ over C&D a month ago. He proved definitively (as his trainer expected) that he stays this trip, and a 4lb rise looks fairly lenient, merely bringing him up to his mark on turf. His previous form at Wetherby has worked out well, so every chance of following up.
Unfortunate to bump into Amy Blair at Hamilton, but made no mistake a couple of days later when bolting up by 7L over C&D from subsequent winner Diamond Ruler. Up 11lb, but the yard's claiming rider helps to remove 7lb of that rise, so likely to be involved.
Drops back to the same mark (70) from which he won over C&D in November, but this looks an altogether stronger race. Off since January, so the market is likely to be informative with regards his level of fitness.
A consistent mare who has mixed hurdling with Flat racing in 2017. She has plenty of experience of this track having finished a runner up on three occasions (twice over 1m4f). Beaten by Auspicion over C&D earlier this month and seeks her revenge on 3lb better terms with a former champion jockey aboard.
Taken a while to find her feet for this trainer, but posted a fair effort when runner up to Miningrocks at Beverley earlier this month (Hernandoshideaway third). Up 2lb, but her last success on turf for Henry Candy came from this perch at Ffos Las in September 2015.
Ex Irish, and has been hurdling for Dr Richard Newland, so has led a varied (if lightly raced) career. Well beaten in a maiden at Southwell on debut for this trainer early last month, and doesn't appear to hold obvious claims.
Has won on a couple of previous occasions for this trainer, including over hurdles at Bangor in November 2015, but in truth didn't show masses on turf last summer/early this year (spring). Falling in the weights and makes AW debut but needs to show more.
A frustrating sort for previous trainer John Gosden (regular runner up) and this trainer is yet to work the oracle in 2017, so this son of Dansili is now a 12 race maiden. Dropping steadily in the weights.
His sole success in 20 career starts was on this surface (at Wolverhampton) in October 2016 from a 6lb lower mark. Appears to have lost his way since finishing second at Beverley in April, and it remains to be seen what impact the enforced shutdown has had on this stables runners in terms of race fitness.
Won here for Tony Carroll over 1m in December (beat Lozah by a neck) and generally more effective on synthetics than turf. Yet to really threaten to strike for this trainer, and this looks competitive enough for the grade.

A maximum field of 14 runners, but with a couple of horses to focus upon. Archipeligo bolted up over C&D earlier in the month and that form looks solid enough with the runner up going in at Nottingham since. Iain Jardine has countered a savage 11lb rise with the use of 7lb claimer Jamie Gormley (ridden most of his career winners at this track), so he could feasibly go in again. However, strong preference is for another recent C&D winner AUSPICION. His trainer always felt that he'd stay this trip, and he took full advantage of a good AW mark to defeat Henpecked recently, and connections will surely be content with just a 4lb rise. Luck in running might be the chief concern from a wide draw, but he's a confident selection nevertheless.
