Needs a sound or fast surface to show his best and may not get that with the forecast rain around. However, otherwise, he stays well and clearly has the ability to run a big race here from top weight.
Has a 1m3f win here to her name and acts well with some cut in the ground. Should get this trip and represents a yard going well, which is good news because she is weighted up to her best and is likely to need to be somewhere near it to win.
Yet to win in 17 attempts on turf, where his best efforts have been on good to soft / soft ground. That includes last time out at Nottingham (1m6f, good to soft) when he was held by a neck. Up 2lb for that, but connections will welcome any rain for him and can again go well if it arrives.
Received 2lb and beat Tonto's Spirit just under 3L here last time (1m4f, good to firm). 1lb worse off with that reopposing rival and she also handles slower ground well enough to suggest that if the rains come she will not be inconvenienced. Follow-up claims.
Back on the same mark here as when winning at Catterick (1m4f, soft) last season. However, beaten from this mark last time and also well held on both starts at this venue. She appears to reserve her best for the North Yorkshire track and others preferred today.
Dual winner here over 1m4f on good/good to firm ground, the latest of her wins being almost two years ago. 3lb lower going into this and handles any conditions with good in the description. Plenty to find with both Donnachies Girl and Fillydelphia on their recent running here.
Has never raced beyond 1m2f on the Flat and yet to win beyond 1m½f, so this is going to be a severe test of his stamina credentials. Best on good or softer ground, but recent form woeful and not easy to fancy.
Sole success from 17 starts came here over 1m3f (good) in 2015. 13lb lower these days, but that is as a result of a string of hefty defeats and it is hard to see him reversing form with Donnachies Girl after a 12½L drubbing last time.

Forecasts
Tonto's Spirit (9/4), Donnachies Girl (5/2), Spiritoftomintoul (3/1), Canny Style (4/1), Duke Of Yorkshire (11/2), Mishko (6/1), Fillydelphia (12/1), Celtic Power (16/1), Schmooze (16/1), Cougar Kid (16/1), Riponian (40/1)
A very moderate opener where TONTO'S SPIRIT is given the vote despite a rising mark, as he will be at least as well suited as the rest of the field if the forecast rains arrive. He also stays well and does not waste many opportunities at the racecourse. Duke Of Yorkshire has the ability to land a blow, though rain would be a concern, while Donnachies Girl and Spiritoftomintoul should both be on the premises.
