Form of his C&D victory has been devalued since and he was readily outclassed in a conditions race on his latest start. This is not that competitive and the stable took this last year.
Half-brother to winners Goodwood Crusader, Copper Knight and Sir Plato who have improved with racing. Never a factor after a slow start on debut when unloved in the market. Yard's juveniles are yet to fire but they do improve for a run. Stable 1-14 at the venue.
15,000 gns half-brother to winning sprinters Swanton Blue and Cahal. Stable had a winning debutant at Musselburgh recently so one to check in the market.
£600 half-sister to Ada Lovelace who was a multiple winning sprinter for this yard. Noted making late headway in a couple of 5f maidens so this extra furlong will help. This is easier than either of those races but she probably looks a more likely type for nurseries.
Related to several winners but, after finishing last on both starts, it is hard to see her maintaining that family tradition any time soon.

Holdenhurst sets the standard representing last year's winning trainer. His victory over C&D does not make particularly good reading but this is another weak looking contest. He has to concede weight to a couple of potential improvers in Iconic Knight and TIME FOR WINE. The former is related to plenty of winners and the latter represents a yard with a good record in juvenile races here. Both contested the same race at Windsor last week in which both missed the break. Neither were able to go the pace subsequently and the extra furlong here will be a benefit. Preference is for TIME FOR WINE given her trainer's stats at the track.
