Enjoyed a good 2015, recording his sole success (6f, good to firm) and going close on three other occasions, but has been struggling since. Tried back at this trip for the first time since joining current yard and dropped in grade, he is interesting.

4lb lower than when scoring at Redcar in August (7f, good to firm). Has shown glimpses of that since, but largely comfortably beaten. Dropped to this grade for the first time since winning in it at Nottingham 11 months ago, he would be very interesting if market vibes are positive.

2lb lower than when winning at Carlisle (1m, good to soft) almost a year ago. Goes well here, as evidenced by his latest run when ½L runner-up (1m½f, good to firm) last week from the same mark and with a 5lb claimer up today he could be very tough to beat.

Recorded a couple of wins last season (gave Shamaheart 8lb and beat him a neck in one of them). 8lb lower than that here, but has had several chances off lower marks than that win recently and not taken them. Hard to enthuse about him at present.

Has not added to his Sandown maiden win as a juvenile when with Richard Hannon. Looked like he was coming into form at Thirsk (6f, good to firm) last month, but has been unable to go on from there in three runs since and looks best watched for the moment.

Remains a maiden after 16 starts and not been in red hot form lately. However, you don't have to go back far to see that he could get very competitive from this mark. Has a poor draw to overcome.

Loves it here, having recorded three of her four wins at the venue, two of them over C&D. However, despite some decent efforts back here since her last success in April, she looks to be plenty high enough in the handicap at present. Each-way claims.

Beat Make On Madam ½L here last month, but is now 9lb worse off with that reopposing rival and was well held from this mark, admittedly in a better grade, last time. Nonethless, it takes some leap of faith to see him being good enough today.

All three wins have been at around this trip, the most recent being over C&D last month from 3lb lower. Is at his best on fast ground, though ran last time as if the handicapper had his measure from 1lb higher and will need to find improvement to record win number four.

Scored at both Bath and Brighton in the autumn when with Ismail Mohammed before the handicapper had his say. Now 1lb higher than the most recent of those successes and this stiff 7½f could be ideal for her, so a better effort is not ruled out from a good draw.

1-21, that sole success being over C&D in May last year (good to firm). Now 3lb lower, after a 13-race losing run and could have a squeak here. However, she is a quirky individual and from a punting perspective she is clearly not easy to catch right.
