Seven races so far and hit the frame just once, over the minimum trip on the AW at Chelmsford in December. First run on Tapeta and needs to up his game.
Ten race maiden but has rarely put in a poor performance and is surely going to break through sooner rather than later.
Form on the AW surfaces earlier in the year would make him an interesting contender at this level, was poor however in 6f Catterick handicap at the start of this month.
Gelding has won here twice already this year, including over this trip. Below his best in two recent turf runs but suited coming back to this venue and no surprise to see him in the thick of things.
Ten-race maiden now, well held sole previous AW try over this C&D in August and efforts this season mean it's easier to look elsewhere.
Front runner was poor in previous run at Bath over 5f, doesn't have a great draw for going forward here and remains a maiden after 12 attempts.
Obliged on her handicap debut over 5f here hasn't really kicked on as expected, though not beaten far at Brighton on her penultimate start. Readily brushed aside by her only two rivals at Bath since, however.
Came very close to getting off the mark at this course over a furlong further earlier in the year. Drop to 6f and first-time hood didn't spark improvement here recently and hard to make a case for chances now.
Forecasts
Peachey Carnehan (5/2), Five Star Frank (5/2), Alfonso Manana (11/4), Black Bubba (6/1), Prancelina (12/1), Bismarck The Flyer (14/1), Equity (25/1), Tink (80/1)
Not many of these appeal and so time two-time course winner PEACHEY CARNEHAN gets the nod as the proven operator at this track. He's been below his best work on turf in two recent starts but should go well back on this surface and dropped into this class. Prancelina has won here over 5f and isn't to be readily discounted while consistent maiden Alfonso Manana is another worth considering.
- Peachey Carnehan
- Prancelina
- Alfonso Manana
