Three times a winner on the Flat but still seeking his first hurdles success. Finished runner-up at Southwell (good) last time and interesting if building on that.

Placed once from seven starts over hurdles and well held in first time cheekpieces last time out. Probably best watched in this.

Finished runner-up off this mark at Exeter (good) over 2m1f on his penultimate outing. Held upped in trip subsequently and an interesting runner dropping in trip today.

Held chances when falling at the last in a point-to-point in February last year but well beaten since and pulled up over hurdles the last twice. Making his handicap debut following an absence here.

13 race maiden who ran well when 4L fourth on his penultimate outing at Kempton (good). Well beaten at Ffos Las earlier this month and lacks consistency.
7
Horse silk

Placed once in five starts over hurdles. Well held in handicaps the last twice and more needed if he's to record a first victory today.

Yet to win in 17 starts but caught the eye when making late progress on debut for this yard over an extended 2m2f at Newton Abbot (good) at the end of last month. Worth a check in the market today.

Age: 10|  Weight: 11-0| J: R T Dunne| T: R Mathew| OR:  88

17 race maiden and beaten 71L over fences at Ludlow when last in action back in April. More need in a first time visor here.

The Groovev110
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-0| J: Conor Shoemark| T: F O'Brien| OR:  91

Had just the six outings to date and wore first time tongue tie and cheekpieces (both left off in favour of a visor here) when well beaten on handicap debut at Uttoxeter (good) last time. Market support would be interesting here.

Daring Knightb11
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-10| J: L P Aspell| T: C Ellam| OR:  87

Well beaten in three starts for this yard including over hurdles in April. Yet to place in 15 career starts and likely to struggle in this.

No win in 14 career starts but running well recently including when finishing runner-up the last twice. Now rated 1lb higher than when second at Huntingdon (good) last month and one for the shortlist in this contest.

Well held in all four starts for this yard including at Stratford last time. Others make more appeal in this event.

Forecasts

Weld Arab (7/2), Pension Madness (4/1), Fidelity (9/2), Sweeping Rock (6/1), Peppay Le Pugh (8/1), Magical Thomas (10/1), Silent Account (10/1), Sixties Idol (16/1), Emperor Commodos (16/1), Luca Brazi (20/1), The Groove (25/1), Art Looker (66/1), Daring Knight (66/1)

Verdict

FIDELITY has been running well recently and can register his first success having finished runner-up in competitive contests the last twice. The selection races off a 1lb higher mark than when beaten at Huntingdon last time out and can get the better of Pension Madness who is less exposed than most of his rivals here and caught the eye last time out. Sweeping Rock disappointed over further last time but had previously run well over 2m1f and he can take third ahead of Weld Arab.
  1. Fidelity
  2. Pension Madness
  3. Sweeping Rock
