Four times a winner here including over C&D in April. Finished third of six here last time out and races off a mark 3lb lower than for that April success.
Ran well to finish runner-up in a 6f claimer here last month but disappointed on turf over this trip at Pontefract (good) subsequently. Interesting runner in this.
Not beaten far the last twice including over C&D on his penultimate start last month. Races off the same mark today and is seeking his first win at the 11th time of asking in this.
C&D winner on his penultimate outing when wearing blinkers for the first time and beaten a head off this 4lb higher mark at Nottingham (good) subsequently. Hood and cheekpieces worn unsuccessfully in three starts for this yard replace blinkers for this.
Had a busy 2017 so far winning three times already including over C&D in April. Successful on turf at Chepstow (good-to-firm) in May but held twice since and racing off a mark 2lb higher than for his latest success.
AW winner at Southwell in April and finished runner-up over 5f at Nottingham (good-to-soft) last month. Held the last twice including on the AW at Wolverhampton earlier this month and others make more appeal today.
Finished 3L second upped to 6f at Thirsk (soft) a month ago. Well held on only previous start in 2017 and interesting to see if he can build on that latest effort in this contest.
Made a winning debut for this stable when scoring over 5f at Wolverhampton three weeks ago. Races off a 4lb higher mark today but has had just the five runs so far and remains open to improvement.
Placed twice from five starts on the AW for this yard so far. Beaten 4L at Wolverhampton last out over this trip and races off a mark 2lb lower than when winning over C&D for her previous yard last September. Wears cheekpieces for the first time today.
Wearing a visor for the first time when runner-up over C&D off a 3lb higher mark last month. Well held at Wolverhampton subsequently and others make more appeal today.
Forecasts
Absolutely Awesome (5/2), Show Palace (4/1), Saved My Bacon (9/2), Classic Pursuit (9/2), Pearl Acclaim (10/1), Corridor Kid (10/1), Vale Of Flight (14/1), Borough Boy (16/1), Roy's Legacy (20/1), Percy Toplis (33/1)
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME remains unexposed having had just the five starts so far and he can follow up his winning debut for this stable at Wolverhampton by taking this competitive sprint. Of the selections rivals today Saved My Bacon won here in April and can claim second ahead of Classic Pursuit who has been in good form in recent starts.
