Shown steady improvement with each start and travelled well at Hamilton last time out over 6f. Still unexposed and may well be able to finish the job off on better ground this time around.
His two runs as a juvenile really didn't show that much but he left those behind on his return this year at Pontefract over 6f. Kept on well after being hampered in the closing stages and should make a bold bid here.
Showed ability as a juvenile over 7f on his solitary start at that age but didn't really make any improvement when reappearing this year over the same C&D (7f Redcar). Slow away last time and would need to show more to be of interest here.
Cost 80,000 guineas as a yearling and is a half-brother to seven winners and the yard are in decent form of late. Well worth a check in the market on his debut.
Cost €22,000 as a yearling but only gets to make his debut now for a yard that are having a very good season. There looks to be some speed in the pedigree although the market may well be the best to his prospects here.
100/1 and well beaten on her only start so far on the AW and can only be watched here.
Appeared to show some ability when fourth on her debut at Redcar over 6f (one place behind Don Valentino) although she did look to have a hard race on debut. Could play a part here but has a little to find with the principals.
Put in her best performance to date when second to Black Salt at Redcar (Don Valentino and Melrose Girl just behind) but had the edge in experience there. Looked to be suited by the drop back to 6f although it remains to be seen how much further progress she can make.

Forecasts
Equiano Springs (9/4), Don Valentino (11/4), Mohsen (7/2), Yorkshire Pudding (11/2), Melrose Girl (8/1), Oscar Ranger (14/1), Ginger Love (20/1), Shake And Bakes (50/1), Baby Say Yes (100/1)
A few here have form that ties in closely from a race at Redcar but it looks as though Don Valentino is the one who is capable of making further improvement and having the edge over Yorkshire Pudding and Melrose Girl. Mohsen is an interesting newcomer and a market watch on Oscar Ranger the other debutante is advised. EQUIANO SPRINGS stepped forward on his two runs last time out though at Pontefract and was arguably a little unlucky not to go closer and he may well be able to get off the mark in an interesting closing heat.
- Equiano Springs
- Mohsen
