Improved of late and really since joining this particular yard and has already clocked up the three wins this year the latest coming over C&D. Ground may well have gone against him last time out (soft at York) and he looks well treated on his win here on his penultimate run with that form having been very well advertised (second, fourth and sixth all won next time out).
Won twice as a juvenile but his progression rather tailed off towards the end of the season and he looks fairly exposed in the context of this race. Looked as though he needed the run at Doncaster on his reappearance but rather exposed in this company with a few that look as though they can improve.
Showed up well as a juvenile when he was with the Noseda yard but the change of stable doesn't look to have been in his favour. Down in trip here but hard to fancy on his form this year.
Maiden winner last year over the minimum trip for Andrew Balding and came back this year for his new yard with a solid enough fourth over 6f here. May well have go the run of the race there and the return to 5f isn't totally sure to suit.

Forecasts
Jack Flash (10/11), Dakota Gold (2/1), Night Law (7/2), Desert Sport (4/1), Rozy Boys (5/1), Monks Stand (13/2), Harome (10/1)
One or two in this that whet the appetite and with the Dods team in good form top weight Dakota Gold is of obvious interest along with Rozy Boys who might not be fully exposed yet. Desert Sport needs to find some more improvement after winning a weak affair last time but the ground should suit JACK FLASH much better here and he goes from a handy pitch next to the rail and could well be able to dominate as he did when winning here before.
- Jack Flash
- Dakota Gold
- Rozy Boys
