Completed a hat-trick when winning off a 3lb higher mark at Catterick (good-to-soft) over 1m4f in August 2015. Lightly raced and making his debut for a new stable with a hood applied for the first time today.
Modest form in maidens including two defeats when sent off favourite and likely to need this after a year's absence. Dam won over 1m6f and his full-brother has won over 2m so likely he will need further in due course.
Trainer sent out his full-brother Black Schnapps to land three races and he was most effective at this trip. Put away following his latest defeat at Kempton and may need this, but one to note both in the market and with an eye to the future.
Landed a hat-trick for James Tate on AW tracks in early 2016 and has been in the grip of the handicapper since. Dropped in the weights for the first time since March 2016 but there are doubts regarding this trip.
Has run some solid enough races but the losing run continues to grow with the last win 14 runs ago now. Solid enough third last time out at Leicester but again lacked the pace to mount a serious challenge.
Useful sort on the AW although his last win came back in 2015 over a mile here. Was placed five times last year but has rather lost his way this year and hard to have much faith in at the current time.
Has a history of bursting blood vessels and his last two efforts make him a risky proposition. Cheekpieces are refitted.
Snapped a losing streak stretching back 15 races to land a ladies race on Saturday when he had more in hand than the official margin suggests. Trainer 24-98 with last time out winners.
Record of 8-64 but yet to tackle this trip. Dam got this far and has had winners at the trip, but there was more stamina on the sire's side than is the case here. Nevertheless, the way she came home here over a mile last time suggests it is worth a go
Claimed out of Patrick Chamings' yard following his defeat at Lingfield a month ago. Only beat one home on stable debut and upped in trip for this. Yet to prove he stays this far and additional concerns with the yard looking for their first winner since February.

Forecasts
Angrywhitepyjamas (10/3), Classic Villager (9/2), Craftsmanship (9/2), The Gay Cavalier (11/2), Warrior Prince (6/1), Mezzotint (10/1), Foie Gras (14/1), Pirate's Treasure (16/1), Graceful James (16/1), Chelwood Gate (20/1), Vizier (20/1)
There are few positives going into this with The Gay Cavalier appealing following his Lingfield success which was accomplished with more to spare than the margin indicates. Angrywhitepyjamas would be the pick if his fitness was proven and a market check is advised. Foie Gras is unproven at the trip and Warrior Prince may need further still. GRACEFUL JAMES likes it here and his third to the useful Qaffaal here in October looks the best piece of form on offer. A run well down the field at Sandown a few weeks ago will have got him straighter for this.
