Winner of three races since joining this yard earlier this year. Disappointing on last two when a combination of ground and weight are likely to blame. Still looks too high in the weights.
Has been on a downward spiral since claiming his last success 12 races ago. Tumbling down the weights and in capable hands with a hood going back on. Remains hard to fancy given a less than spectacular record when returning from a break.
Lost his way towards the end of last season and that has carried over into 2017 for a new handler. Cheekpieces now tried.
Ended a losing run at Carlisle a month ago when coming from an unpromising position. Needed every yard of that 6f to collect and he may find this harder on a much quicker track.
Winner of five races in 2016 with the latest coming off 3lb lower. Yet to win from a mark as high as this but has been placed in better company from stiffer marks in the past 12 months. Goes well for this rider and conditions look ideal.
Had Saturday's big sprint handicap winner Golden Apollo behind when picking up a race at Ripon in August. Blew the start next time but his current mark does not underestimate him.
Came to hand early for Richard Hannon as a juvenile but has looked poorly handicapped on both runs this year.
Much improved this year having forged clear to win over C&D and at Newcastle. Not disgraced over shorter at Beverley last time when forced to come wide and should acquit himself well once more.
Overcame a poor draw to collect last week having previously run into the progressive Meshardal on his penultimate start. Has more to do at these weights but he has won two of his last four and could be worth following.
Exploited an attractive mark at Beverley before failing under his revised rating when favourite at Pontefract. Many of these have have faced stiffer assessments by the handicapper and he may find himself better treated than he looks at first glance.

Recent winners The Armed Man, Crosse Fire and ROUND THE ISLAND have all been attracting the handicapper's attention following recent successes. Crosse Fire still looks feasibly treated on his best form and The Armed Man has looked most progressive. ROUND THE ISLAND stormed to an emphatic success at Pontefract and his penalty may not be enough to thwart him again. Market Choice is dropping down the weights and with many of these heading in the opposite direction he could find himself in the right race at the right time. He will be cherry ripe with perfect conditions for the first time this season and at the likely odds he could be a decent each-way shout.
