Racing UK Welcomes Stratford On 4th July Handicap Hurdle

Unplaced on all seven hurdles outings to date and sole Flat win came all the way back in 2014. Doesn't look all that straightforward and he's been particularly out of form more recently, beaten 71L in a Newton Abbott handicap chase at the start of the month.

Sole success for previous yard came in a maiden hurdle at Tramore (good) in August 2015. Well beaten on final two starts in Ireland, has shown little in three starts for his new stable.

Has recorded both of her career successes at Sedgefield in the early months of 2017. Off the mark in a 2m1f handicap hurdle in January, and she also scored on her fencing debut in April. A decisive 10L winner of an admittedly weak race, well beaten since in at Sedgefield and in a Southwell handicap chase last week when seventh of 14 beaten 11½L. 8lb higher than last win.

Finished runner-up at Newton Abbott in his bid for a double at the course last July, following being well beaten here over 2m2½L last July. No impression and well beaten on return to the track following long lay-off in a Newton Abbott handicap Chase, again, over 2m2½L.

Winner of his by 5L over 2m at Ludlow (good) in April. Since finished well beaten in an amateur riders handicap on the Flat at Wolverhampton and subsequently, well beaten 33L and 11L in Market Rasen and Southwell handicap hurdles.

Recorded his first win for two years at Taunton on his comeback run this season and not disgraced off a 7lb higher mark at Warwick last time when fourth of 16. Still very well-handicapped on old form so should go well again.

Looked well handicapped on his point-to-point form when winning a handicap hurdle at Huntingdon in May last year on good ground. Not shown anything like that since then and well beaten last time in a Newton Abbott handicap hurdle over 2m5½f on good to soft, earlier this month.

Not won since 2015 and now 7lb below his last winning mark now and was running consistently well towards the end of last year. Well beaten and no impression on two seasonal starts at Towcester and Newton Abbott.

21lb below his last winning mark but recent form has taken a huge turn for the worse, finishing well beaten on all of his last five starts, including last time out at Fontwell, finishing seventh of 11, beaten 32L.

Winner of a Beverley seller for Tom Dascombe last summer. Has looked poor in three novice hurdles and on handicap debut, however, fitting of a first-time hood may have brought about improvement to finish second of 15 last time out in a Newton Abbott handicap chase over 2m2½f, beaten 4½L and always held by the winner.
