Not been in much form of late with two poor runs to his name on the AW and on turf. Best run came on the AW at Kempton Park over a mile in April but his free going nature makes him a risky proposition.
Winner of two of his last four races he looks a rather quirky sort whose best form has come over this trip and was well handled by today's rider last time out as he gained his first win on turf. May have benefitted from the second and third getting involved in trouble last time out and given his past attitude no banker to gain another win under a penalty.
Winner of his last two starts including over C&D off a 9lb lower mark he showed improved form last time out to win by a narrow margin at Beverley. Can race freely and did so last time out and in fact did well to win and if he settles better this time he could well progress again.
Remains a maiden but was in decent form on the AW at the start of the year off a 2lb lower mark and may well have needed the race when back on turf at Newmarket last time out. Still without the headgear that had seen him run a promising race on his penultimate start but not totally written off here in a relatively weak race.
Just one win to her name which came in a nursery last year over 6f but she wasn't disgraced last time out over a mile here. Her finishing effort was a little disappointing though after she travelled well throughout the contest and she might get outbattled again here.
Her form has been rather modest so far and she remains a maiden who has been well below form on her last two starts. Finished last over a mile here last time out and that is not going to cut much ice here.
Forecasts
Pass The Cristal (2/1), Beepeecee (11/4), Al Mansor (4/1), Whiteley (6/1), Still Waiting (13/2), Moonstone Rock (20/1)
A relatively workaday contest with a couple that come here in good form in the shape of PASS THE CRISTAL and Beepeecee with the former given the nod due to his more straightforward attitude. He still needs to settle better in his races (especially in the early stages) but should have some more improvement left in him. Still Waiting might just be a little better than his last run suggests with Whiteley looking the type to travel in a race but maybe not finding as much as expected at the business end.
- Pass The Cristal
- Still Waiting
- Al Mansor
