Winner of a valuable handicap off this mark at York during Dante week in 2016. Well beaten on his last two starts and has been given a break since. New headgear tried and hard to recommend until confirming his resilience.
4-30 record with a further 11 frame finishes. Has been frustrating but was found an easy opportunity in a four runner race at Lingfield. Handicapper has not been too hard on him and he would be expected to confirm superiority over Red Rannagh. Would be vulnerable if any of his rivals suddenly bounced back to form so probably not one to take a short price about. Trainer 1-31 at the track.
Landed three races here in 2015 but, having missed the whole of last year, has shown little in both starts this term. Best efforts have come on softer ground.
Strong puller and habitual slow starter who is looking a tricky customer. Should get more cover here than at Lingfield last time but still hard to be confident he can get closer to Rotherwick. Hood goes back on.
Forged clear to score at Newcastle in February and, having faced some stiff tasks since, drops to the same mark here. Tackled this trip for the first time at Chester last month in what looked a stronger race than this and the runner-up scored at Newmarket next time. Trainer in form has a better than expected 4-22 record here.
Returned from a layoff in January and another break since March suggests he has had further issues. Well handicapped if at his best.

Forecasts
Rotherwick (2/1), Worlds His Oyster (3/1), Nayel (4/1), High Baroque (11/2), Red Rannagh (6/1), Storm King (15/2), Lahayeb (25/1)
High Baroque has the ability to win this if Richard Fahey can get him to the track at the top of his game and the market may be the best guide to his prospects. Storm King is a capable front-runner who will find this easier having contested better races at Epsom and York lately. Rotherwick exploited a good opportunity last time but he looks the type who could be vulnerable in a finish and for that reason WORLDS HS OYSTER is preferred. John Quinn's charge is down to his last winning mark and the form of his latest effort at Chester looks good enough to take this with the runner-up, Kapstadt, landing a hot race at Newmarket nine days ago.
