Frankel filly out of a Medicean mare, well beaten on debut in a Chelmsford maiden, but showed significant improvement last time out at Beverley when finishing second to the highly rated William Haggas-trained, Coconut Creme, beaten 1L. The winner has gone on to finish second to 88-rated Mori in a Goodwood Listed contest over 1m2f and is now second favourite for the Ribblesdale.

Oasis Dream filly out of a Bahri mare. Slowly in to stride on debut last season, but broke well and led on seasonal debut in May in a Newmarket maiden, before weakening over a furlong out. Second in that race, the Luca Cumani-trained God Given has gone on to win at Haydock.
First foal out of a Tiger Hill mare by Helmet. Closely related to Musaddas and half-sister to Guarantee who was a multiple winner for trainer-William Haggas as a three-year-old, including the Melrose handicap at York over 1m6f.

360,000gns yearling by Galileo out of a Dansili mare. The stallion/dams stallion partnership isn't the most successful in the bloodstock industry with just six winners since 2011, though there is one significant close relative, Derby runner-up, Cliffs Of Moher.

Second on debut in a Newmarket maiden over 7f on good to firm ground, beaten 2½L by the Owen Burrows-trained Talaayeb. Disappointing on subsequent run, again, at Newmarket and on seasonal debut when seventh of eight over 1m2f on good ground in the Listed Ballymacoll Stakes at Newbury.

By Indian Haven out of a Hawk Wing mare, second foal out of half-sister to German 1m1f winner Prince Firebird. No impression on debut in a Goodwood maiden over 1m on good ground beaten 16+L.
Second foal by Hard Spun out of a Galileo mare. Half-sister tp Abingdon, dual listed winner over 1m2f and 1m4f, rated 107 on final run at Doncaster in 2016.

Shaped well on debut in a Haydock maiden over 1m, beaten 2L when second of 10 in September 2016. Beaten over 2f out on seasonal debut in a Newbury maiden over 1m2f on good to firm.

Forecasts

Extra Mile (2/1), Nathalie (9/4), Neshmeya (7/2), The Jean Genie (9/1), Superioritycomplex (12/1), Mahabba (12/1), Line Of Beauty (25/1), Opera Queen (25/1), Lagertha (33/1), Percipio (66/1)

Verdict

Both EXTRA MILE and Nathalie can come on for the run in, what looks above average, Beverley race, with the Godolphin runner getting a good pull in to the race by the Maktoum-owned Neshmeya and Hugo Palmer's, Lagertha. Experience sure to play a major role here with the aforementioned and The Jean Genie battling for the places.
  1. Extra Mile
  2. Nathalie
  3. The Jean Genie
