0/11 and has only gotten within 5L of a winner once in this time. Now looks fully exposed and virtually incapable of winning a maiden, even a weak-looking heat such as this.

Has run two maidens of a similar standard since being switched from bumpers earlier in the year. Has hinted in plenty of talent across both types of race but doesn't seem progressive enough to challenge here.
Ran with credit on his second start when taking a marked step forward on his debut effort to finish as runner-up over shorter at Nottingham. Interesting here in the hands of a top jockey.

Has shown improvement between each of his starts so far and looked particularly capable of taking a maiden on his most recent start when relishing a step up in trip at Yarmouth.

Helmet colt who cost 100,000gns as a yearling and has an attractive pedigree for middle distances. The market should prove informative on debut.

Has finished second and beaten by less than a length in both of his races so far. Was particularly unlucky on the second of those two occasions, and this looks an ideal opportunity to get off the mark.

Forecasts

Humble Hero (4/5), Fibonacci (9/4), Chief Craftsman (6/1), Helf (20/1), Sea Sovereign (20/1), Benissimo (50/1), Psychology (200/1)

Verdict

Given how unlucky he has been on both starts so far, especially last time, HUMBLE HERO looks to be the one to side with here. Still going the right way and is clearly highly regarded given how well backed he was for both of those previous races. Helf, the only newcomer in the field, is interesting on this racecourse debut given his pedigree and price tag, while Fibonacci has looked highly progressive up until now with the promise of more to come.
