Five starts in Ireland last year resulted in little in the way of positive signs, though did hit the frame in 1m Killarney maiden last July having gone off 100/1. 3½L fifth of 12 in 7f Catterick maiden last month, up in trip and needs more on handicap bow.
Was sent off favourite for similar contest at this course in October on final start of last year but finished 28L off the winner. Decent effort on return to action at Listowel (1m, good) a fortnight ago to be beaten 4¾L into third off this mark so cannot be ruled out with a bit of improvement for that run.
Soundly beaten in three of her latest four outings. Did fare slightly better last time out when 6L seventh of 19 in 1m Leopardstown handicap but will have to build on that effort again to figure.
Unable to get off the mark in six runs for Johnny Murtagh, though did shape with some promise when 2½L third of eight in 1m2f Leopardstown claimer last time on good ground. First start for new trainer.
Went for £40,000 as a two-year-old but failed to justify the price tag in three starts last summer. Gelded since, he was last of 13 over 5f at this track last month and now goes up significantly in distance. Hard to fancy however.
Not at his best 15 days ago at Navan over 1m, he remains a maiden but getting towards a winnable mark and has shown glimpses of ability, notably over 1m on the AW at Dundalk last month.
Sprung a 33/1 surprise returning from more than 200 days off over 1m at Listowel earlier in the month. Got up in the dying strides to win and with a 5lb hike to deal with and an unreliable profile, this might not be the time to weigh in behind him.
Has shown no more in handicap company that she did in maidens and the sense seems to be that she'll need to drop even further down the weights before having a say in race such as this. Latest 4lb drop helps but still hard to be confident in chances.
Close fifth behind Richard Strauss over 1m on AW at Dundalk last time reads well but needs to prove that wasn't a flash-in-the-pan. Dropped to a very handy mark though.
Ex-Jim Bolger filly has shown little so far and was well beaten over similar trip at this venue in April on good to yielding. Gets 2lb back now but has plenty improvement to find to make it count.
Well fended off in three maidens, including 31L loss over 1m2f here last month, and easily held in 7f Fairyhouse contest on handicap debut. Plenty to find on evidence to date.
Six-race maiden was given 13lb relief ahead of seasonal bow at Gowran Park this month (1m1f, soft to heavy) but finished tailed off in race won by Les Arceaux. Possible that effort was too bad to be true, though these weights are no help.

LES ARCEAUX got his relationship with this rider off to a dream start last time out with a smooth success at Gowran Park and on just his seventh run there's still plenty of scope for better so a 6lb rise is not certain to ground his ambitions now. Silk King ran an eye-catching at that same venue on his handicap debut, finishing fourth, and could be set for better things while any money going behind Gold Struck would be worth noting. Hard Times was a shock winner last time out but doesn't appeal as one likely to follow up so the likes of Sleepy Head, going well under Smullen this season, are preferred along with Avalanche, who showed up well enough on return to action at Listowel recently.
