Has won both starts since debut second over this trip at Navan in October, readily scoring in apprentice contest at the same venue early this month under today's rider (Jenniechild second). Came through nicely to win that under top-weight and good claims again despite ratings rise.
Filly landed her maiden at the Curragh in September and ran a fine race over 6f at this track last month in a handicap on good-to-firm sporting first-time cheekpieces. Didn't build on that back at the Curragh since and has something to find on form as a result now dropped to the minimum trip.
Holy Roman Emperor filly shaped well on reappearance over 5f at the Curragh last month when under 2L fifth of 20 in a competitive heat. Booking of Smullen now looks positive.
Winner over 5f on the AW at Dundalk in April and then beaten 2¼L into fourth at this track (good-to-firm) over 6f. Tame effort at Navan over this trip 29 days ago and has since relocated to this yard.
Was only 2¼L behind Magic Bear at Navan last time out and is now 10lb better off, though that rival may well continue on the upgrade. Yard in good form and not ruled out.
Her sole success came over C&D maiden this time last year, and she's raced ten times since with best effort coming in close second over 5f at Dundalk in October. Is rated 10lb lower than that run here and trainer is in decent form, but needs to up her game.
Much better at Navan last time out over this trip when 1½L second to Magic Bear. Filly tends to run well over this C&D and gets relief at the weights for rematch but may struggle to get past that progressive looking rival.
Posted a couple of encouraging efforts in maidens this term, including at Navan last time out when dropped to 5f on yielding to soft ground. Handicap bow here and merits a close look for trainer that is going well.

Forecasts
Magic Bear (9/4), Miss Power (7/2), Piazzini (9/2), Accalia (5/1), Snowstar (6/1), Jenniechild (8/1), Oneoveryou (10/1), Art Nouvelle (12/1), Miss Cogent (25/1)
MAGIC BEAR looks a progressive sort and is preferred to stablemate Miss Power for this contest. The latter finished ahead of the selection at Navan in October but may find the daughter of Kodiac has since improved past her. That looked to be the case when Magic Bear swooped down the outside for a comfortable success under this talented claimer at Navan last time out and she can continue her progress by defying a hike to take this. Miss Power is certainly amongst the dangers along with handicap debutant Snowstar who represents a yard going well at the moment and Accalia, who showed up well on her Curragh reappearance and has a maestro in the plate to elicit some extra from here.
- Magic Bear
- Miss Power
- Accalia
