Bounced back to form at Salisbury last time, coinciding with a drop in class and got things all his own way on the front end. No guarantee his opposition will let him get away with those tactics here though and 5lb rise will make things more difficult.

Bounced back to form in impressive fashion last time over 1m4f here and possible he can go on improving for a yard who do well with their runners around here. That race last time probably not the strongest contest but each-way claims nonetheless.

Progressed nicely last season and there could be more to come this year but may want a little more give in the ground than what he will get here and he's entitled to need this run after an absence.

Not beaten far on debut and unsuited to being held up off a slow pace on second start. Bounced back by losing his maiden tag when upped in trip at Kempton last time and claims once again if they go quick enough on the front end.

Disappointing gelding when trained by Sir Mark Prescott but has gone from strength to strength for this yard. Can still over race at times but shouldn't have too much trouble getting cover here and jockey is a dab hand at riding this course. More to come despite the rise in the weights.

Won back to back races last summer but not been in quite the same form this year. Can ruin his chance with slow starts and still races too keenly so he's opposable for now.

Won back-to-back races in September last year, both with cut in the ground but hasn't been in quite the same form in two starts this year. Opposable unless the rain arrives.

Very consisitent sort but not at his best last time, when fifth of 13 at this course and perhaps the soft ground an excuse for that performance. Can be forgiven one poor run and every chance he can get back on track provided he gets the cover he needs.

Still a maiden after six starts and this probably his most demanding test to date. Should appreciate the return to faster ground but up against from out of the handicap.
