Not disgraced on handicap debut at Newbury last time on ground that may not have suited, after winning a maiden at the same course at 100/1 in April. Should do better back on a sounder surface but doesn't look as well handicapped as some of his rivals.

Makes handicap debut as well as his first appearance on turf having gone close in two of the three maidens he has run in to date. Looks on a high enough opening mark but still has the potential to improve, especially if enjoying this surface.

Not particularly impressive in three maidens and makes his handicap debut here. Goes for top connections and should enjoy the step up in trip, but is probably looking a finishing in the places at best.

Went close over C&D last time out and remains on the same mark now. Would probably prefer some rain to come but still ran with great promise on that occasion.

Has been in good form recently, winning two of his last three starts, and escapes a penalty for a victory over shorter at this course last week. Extra two furlongs shouldn't be an issue, and he should run a massive race.

Has seemed regressive if anything since switching to handicapping, and remains on the same mark as when being beaten 12½L at Brighton last week. Has it all to do on that basis.

Winner on handicap debut last week and carries a 6lb penalty as a result. Showed plenty of quality on that occasion in the style of a filly who had plenty in hand and could improve further. The one to beat if able to continue her improvement on faster ground.

0/7 in his career so far and has 10L to make up on Galactic Prince from last time, as they remain on the same weights. Difficult to fancy in this company.

Forecasts

Road To Dubai (13/8), Galactic Prince (4/1), Duke Of Bronte (5/1), Twenty Times (13/2), City Limits (9/1), War At Sea (14/1), Koeman (16/1), Fields Of Fortune (25/1)

Verdict

Everything looks set for ROAD TO DUBAI to run a very big race here. He won over shorter at this course last time out, beating a couple of these in the process, and escapes a penalty. With the step up in trip sure to suit, and a good record on this type of ground, he should be very tough to beat. One who does have to carry a penalty is Twenty Times, but there is no escaping how impressive she was at Chepstow last week and she is feared most, ahead of War At Sea on his handicap debut.
  1. Road To Dubai
  2. Twenty Times
  3. War At Sea
