13-race maiden who has only made the frame once. Looks out of his depth in this and needs conditions much softer..

Last run on the Flat was at Dundalk off a mark of 46. when beaten 16L That leaves him a long way short of what will be required here.

Has looked a difficult conveyance on his last couple of starts despite market support. Trying his fifth different trip in as many starts.
Decent chaser who has bumper form. Two runs under Flat rules were good enough to give him an outside chance in this company.
Shaped well in a similar event at Clonmel a month ago and was then in the process of running a big race over hurdles before falling at the last. This looks harder than Clonmel and he would prefer conditions to dry out.
Second in a competitive hurdle at Cork over Easter having previously scored on his Navan return. Has run to form on both recent starts and he was a very useful bumper horse for Alan King. Interesting with a capable rider on board.
Favourite for this last year when finding just one too good. Arrives following a similar preparation and will be fancied to go one better.
Stayed on to take fourth in a similar event last July. That looked a better race than this but he was in better form then than is the case now.

Fair hurdler for Edward O'Grady in his prime but his best days seem behind for now judged on recent evidence.

Cheltenham Festival fourth makes Flat debut and arrives following a fair effort at Punchestown. Top amateur booked and one for the shortlist.

Galileo gelding is a half-brother to useful 6f winner Sailors Swan. Easy to back on bumper debut at Punchestown and needs to improve significantly for the experience.

Winner of a chase here in January who went well at the Punchestown Festival. Contested a similar race here in July when well supported but only finishing sixth. That was a better contest than this and conditions may have been too quick. Top rider booked that day is again on board.

Sole career run saw her finish last of 16 and that leaves her with plenty to find in the year she has been absent.

Winner of a Navan maiden hurdle in bottomless ground. May find these rivals too quick on this surface.

Moderate hurdler who was tailed-off last when contesting a similar event at Tipperary in April. Looks easy enough to put a line through.

Verdict

Mr Fiftyone will be fancied to go one better having found one too good in this last year and with his trainer in good form. Willie Mullins sets a poser by saddling triple bumper winner Fugi Mountainfollowing a lengthy layoff whilst Miles To Memphis, Lucky Pat and Powersbomb have been going well enough over obstacles lately to merit respect. ELUSIVE IVY comes into this having finished third at the Punchestown Festival. A gamble in a similar event here in July went awry as the going turned quicker than ideal. With a top amateur back on board she could be the value pick in a tricky finale providing the ground does not dry out too much.
  1. Elusive Ivy
  2. Mr Fiftyone
  3. Miles To Memphis
