Has raced 13 times over hurdles, winning once. Joint favourite when only sixth in a Kilbeggan handicap last time, he is dropped in class by his top Irish trainer and the champion jockey has been booked. Looks primed to make a bold bid.
Failed to win for Richard Price, but made a winning debut for this trainer when landing a Ffos Las handicap at the start of this month. Went up 9lb for that so connections have chosen to go down the claiming route. Obvious chance.
Has a much higher rating over fences than hurdles and is reaching the veteran stage. Ran well to be second in a Huntingdon claimer two starts ago, but this looks a stronger race and he looks to have plenty to do.
Fair hurdler/chaser who has been in decent form of late, including when winning at Market Rasen in April. Sets the standard on handicap ratings and is a major player dropped to claiming company.
Only one win in 24 starts and is equipped with a hood for his first outing for his new stable. Getting on and has not run for a long time so impossible to fancy under the circumstances.
An uninspiring 1-18 over hurdles, he has done little since joining this yard from Dan Skelton. Has a mountain to climb on official ratings.
Getting a bit long in the tooth at the age of 11, but showed the fire was still burning when winning a Ffos Las seller last time. More is needed in this, but he is clearly in good heart and looks a big player.
Winning hurdler in France in his younger days, but is not the same force on these shores and his handicap mark has been tumbling as he has failed to get his head in front.
Wining point-to-pointer who has showed little in two bumpers and two hurdles and seems to be on a downward spiral. Readily opposed.
Has shown occasional glimpses of promise, including when third in a Ffos Las handicap hurdle in April. Has lots to find on ratings against the best of his rivals.

Not many sons of Galileo end up in a Worcester claiming hurdle, but that is the fate of Buonarotti Boy, who has strong claims for his top connections. He is much respected, along with the evergreen Ascendant, but preference is for SAFFRON WELLS, who is the best of these on ratings and has good recent form in the book. Ffos Las winner Deebaj is another with a good chance in an above-average claimer.
