Scored over C&D last month (good to firm) from 2lb lower, but has been held from this mark on her two subsequent runs, including on soft ground at Catterick last time. Should remain competitive, but needs a bit more to win again.
Races over her optimum trip and has a soft ground to her name over it from 6lb higher at Leicester last year. Put up one of her best efforts since at Catterick last time (5f, soft) and could go very close.
Has gone 23 races since winning on debut (5f, soft) at Musselburgh in 2015. Has gone well in similar conditions since then and is reasonably consistent for one at this level. Could again get involved, though that elusive second win may have to wait.
0-12 thus far, but he has twice gone off as favourite in his last three starts and did enjoy a good few weeks despite not breaking his duck. Beaten 5L last time at Redcar from this mark and clearly needs to find something more to be winning. Soft ground is a further concern.
4lb higher than the last of his two wins which came over C&D (good) last August. Has a couple of bits of form on good to soft and heavy ground, so conditions not an issue, but his handicap mark is of more concern at the moment.
Has not been seen for a year. Ran well in two sellers over this trip on soft/heavy ground last spring, but has not shown sufficient from similar marks in handicaps to be a betting proposition in this.
Won this last year (good) from a mark of 47 and added another 5f Catterick win (good to soft) to his CV from 1lb higher later in the year. Back on that latter mark again today and ran well from 1lb higher here last time, so ought to be right there at the business end in his bid for a repeat.
Recorded five wins between 2013-2015 all at this trip and three of which were with cut in the ground. 3lb lower than the last of those and was very competitive from 2lb higher here last time, so not ruled out.
Placed four times from 15 starts but remains a maiden. Three of those placed efforts have been on her last three starts, including over C&D (good to firm) last month. Bettered that effort last time and now goes up 1lb, which is not going to make things any easier.
Yet to win on turf, both successes being over this trip at Wolverhampton. 5lb lower than the last of those and was beaten only 1L from 2lb higher at that venue last time. However, yet to make the frame on turf and this ground has to be a concern.
Won a 6f maiden here (good to firm) in August, but has failed to get competitive since then in handicaps. Dropped another 3lb after her latest run, but it takes a sizeable leap of faith to side with her.
Has a selling handicap win over C&D (good to soft) to his name from 2015, though has not been as effective when the ground is soft. Recent efforts from similar marks nothing to write home about, although did a bit better last time, but not easy to fancy.

LADY JOANNA VASSA showed signs of a return to form last time. She handles conditions and is on a good mark, so she is the suggestion to get the better of last year's winner Very First Blade. Cheeni should again be competitive, along with Tinsill.
